How do you cope as a boomer returning to Dota 2?I played Dota 2 between 2012 and 2016 mostly, after 2016~2018 I got partially burned out and only played stuff like Ability Draft. I started at 3500 MMR, and I made it to 4500 MMR.I picked Dota 2 up almost a decade later and it's genuinely insane how much better everyone's gotten and how much worse the systems evolved and how punishing they are for returning players. This behavior/communication score shit is insane. I intuitively knew it was probably fucked, so I started playing on one of my throwaway accounts (luckily I have lots of them and on separate devices so Valve can't even tell I'm "smurfing" - not that anyone would be able to tell). I started with my lowest scored account, where I had nothing to lose.>every game, I play like a monk, no pings, no chat abuse because I had voice and text and tipping disabled at 5800 score anyway>I play exclusively position 4-5 (as much as you can claim to do so in unranked/turbo mode)>never griefed, never fed intentionally>I go from 5800 to FUCKING 5011 - and I was only reported 4 times in 3 gamesWhat. The. Absolute. FUCK. I thought this "overwatch" shit was supposed to prevent you from being punished for rage reports? And Google AI told me that as long as I never talk and never ping, all "toxic" reports are instantly dismissed by the system automatically.And worst of all, according to Dotabuff, the games were between 700 and 1700 MMR. I assume based on the badges of the players who had their Dotabuff enabled. I'm not saying they played good, some players played like I would expect - barely sentient and running into certain death. But some players were genuinely playing high skill heroes (Invoker, and - according to what I read - Kez, the highest skill hero) at a level I saw in 4K+ MMR and 1v5ing our entire team. And in every game there was at least one dedicated tryhard support. Supporting at 700-1700 MMR. What happened???

My main account is around Divine, so I can't play ranked with my friends due to rank different unless I go to my old account. Will Valve give a shit at all?
