Somewhere along the way, "The factory must grow" turned into "The factory must be torn down every patch and rebuilt to meet a 100% goal due to limited mining resources and AIC space". As the honeymoon period has ended, I've gone from building beautiful symmetrical optimized factories to anything that works to just copying guide codes. Couple that with the jank Fluid mechanics: I don't enjoy factory gameplay anymore, which was the main draw for me. Unlike HSR, ZZZ, Wuwa which I could drop without regrets, I actually want Endfield to succeed, it just has so much promise held back by safe (yet inevitably doomed) gacha decisions. Just finished 1.3's new area and I'm going to quit until 2.0, hoping the devs rehaul the game.

Where the fuck does this idea that you have to "tear down and rebuild your whole factory" even come from? People didn't start to get filtered by the factory until 1.2's Hetonite production chain, and they gave us a whole new dedicated sub-PAC just for that. 1.3 didn't add any new factory ontop of that, and for 1.4's gas mechanics we will get a new sub-PAC once again.

It's the only game mode they play, they don't care about anything else and they won't shut the fuck up until they add it to Endfield as well (they will inevitably complain that it's not as good as the original and keep being annoying as fuck).

Endfield’s gacha is bad, yes, but the reason people complain about it so much is because it has no redeeming qualities as a game, nothing that keeps people engaged and emotionally invested whether it’s the story, designs, music, or gameplay. Surprisingly enough, TT and MiFu's VAs are the two best performances in the game. I've been playing with the CN dub now and amazing how they can pull off the characters in both languages. Obsviously, they're both better in the cn dub.
