There are idiots like that in comp AND quickplay. Unless you go play mauga nipple pve or bastion fishing you can't avoid people being stupid anywhere in the game.
in either comp or quickplay when I have a teammate who is incredibly bad (or just having a bad day) and know I'm probably going to lose, I look at it as a challenge to see how well I can play/how many kills I can get under pressure, even if a loss is still probably guaranteed. Or I use it as an opportunity to practice playing safe. When you don't have a full-strength team to back you up, you naturally learn to adapt to not having extra dps or healing and it helps you make better positioning decisions because you don't have the safetynet of good teammates kek.
Or you can use an abysmal teammate as an excuse to play a character you don't normally play or as an excuse to use shitty meme-strategies that you normally wouldn't because it's no skin off your back.
