Why the fuck would anyone use the triple-stab node for chudclaw when you still get the big stab if you just hold F no matter which node you pick. Triple-stab does less damage than big stab and it doesn't let you clear the screen from ragers like horizontal does.

Like it's not bad in terms of power but it plays like any other melee class pretty much. And lot of it is just rehashing previous class abilities and talents, like Voltaic Emitter is just Ogryn's Loyal Protector
They thought they were sneaky with the "makes ranged enemies weapons malfunction" thing, but it is literally just taunt.
Only difference is that the enemy head turns blue instead of red.
But I do think the weapons are somewhat fun, the galvanic rifle feels good and what I wish the brown single shot vigilant autogun felt like.

I looked into how often I had crit capacitance up in my last auric mission (using transonic blades w/ shred). It was a pretty bad, under 50% uptime while in combat.
If working off of the generic 50 second ability cooldown, crit capacitance takes the base recharge of 1 per sec and changes it to 1.625 per sec.
Augmented power-cycle (passive 1% capacitance each second) takes you from 1 per sec to 1.5 per sec but has 100% uptime, so it seems to be a lot better if you want to cast more abilities. this is of course on top of weakspot kill recharge
tldr if you want to cast more abilities faster, take reactor coil recharge (weakspot kills charge 2%), then take augmented power cycle (1% per second passively), and maybe ignore flux condiut build-up (5% capacitance over 4s on crit)

Since you only got retarded answers without any justification: When reaching 100% heat, you can do a quick vent tap immediately after firing, which vents just enough heat to give you two uncharged shots regardless of heat stat. This is also theoretically the highest possible DPS the gun achieves. If you shoot shoot vent, shoot shoot vent, you should dump heat since the stat does nothing for you.
I don't know the gun intimately enough to make other suggestions.

Uncharged shots are still the correct way to use the old mark of the plasma gun. Charging it is a waste of ammo. It is not a horde clearer, it is the strongest breakpoint-achieving shooter/disabler one-shot machine, and functions as a sniper.
This assumes havoc 40 of course, no other difficulty fucking matters whatsoever and you can do your retard shit like using a gun to horde clear in your aurics all you want.

Unless you are referring to the new charged aoe mark. I've not used it yet, I can't speak on it. I just saw it has lower primary damage and immediately figured it'd be trash, but maybe it ends up being good on skittle. I've only played like 3 hours on the new class.

It requires much less investment to hit certain one-shot breakpoints than other weapons do, freeing up points that you can then sink into melee, which is what the average bad vet does, and then overuses melee instead of sniping specials. It's a whole chain of events that leads to plasma gun users being bad.
I don't remember the exact details of how you reach the one-shot breakpoints for armored and unarmored gunners. I think it might be piss tag (+ damage upgrade) and maybe even +1 damage node, as well as flak + unarmored or flak + elites or something similar. Might need the +8% strength blessing too, I forget. Either way, a correctly set up plasma gun effortlessly one-taps, and the main reason not to use it is honestly just that the natural lag of it having to charge for a split second is very off-putting.

I actually find laspistol vet to be the most effective overall (provided you have at least +15% crit from team auras), it's anything but a meme build. Combat shotgun is also surprisingly excellent with piss vision, from what I've seen other vets use. Helbore surprised me slightly because people seem to avoid the heavy mark, which does make sense given some vets really do just delete all shooters, including trash.

Practically speaking, coding a competent bot, while complex, is really easy to make work in melee. Spawn is just a matter of blocking and dodging, really, and that is easily automated. Bots don't choke like players do and drop a block and eat shit.

Man Skitariitide is really fun. But do you think fatshark might branch out and add other classes? Skitarii is great and all but I cant see Skitariitide going far without variety. Mechanicus Power Sword is hard to use. It has an extremely confusing moveset, imo, that is quite divergent from most of the other weapons, in that regard. So far, I've found at least these to be functional:

>Single Target
String 1: (from neutral) Light (L1) > Light (L2) > Light (L3) > Heavy (H3)
String 2: (out of a Block Push, non-attack) Light (L3) > Heavy (H3) > [leads into String 1]
String 3: (from neutral or sprinting) Heavy (H1) > Light (L2) > Light (L3) > Heavy (H3)

>Multi Target
String 4: Light (L1) > Heavy (H2) > Light (L4) > [H2 | L4 alternating loops]
String 5: (Block Pushattack) > Light (L4) > [H2 | L4 alternating loops]

On top of those strings, every single corresponding Light or Heavy attack can be replaced with an activated equivalency from your special attack key. I recommend String 3, as that technically has the most efficient use of your individual weapon charges, at least in my experience. I am not really all that good of a duelist, but I do very much find the weapon's oddity appealing, even if it may, or may not, be all that strong. I'm going to give it a 3/10. For reference, the Ogryn's Branx pickaxe is an 8/10. It has poor carapace damage, which automatically puts it in the worst half of melee weapons, and the overall complexity of its moveset relative to its damage output and pitiful lack of staggering capability on top of that doesn't make it any better.
