It had its -isms, sure, but the ability to drive the plot forward, not be too positive, and could follow relatively complicated plot lines makes it my GOAT "open source" LLM. Gemini 2.5 pro, and GLM4.6 have been the only two models that successfully allowed me to break 3k chats with a single bot. Everything else becomes a death spiral of catching an -ism and then getting locked into that narrative/response structure I just became too exhausted to fight after 200-300 messages. Nowadays I find myself chatting a lot less, which I suppose is better for my personal life anyway.

Should I just cancel my Claude subscription right now? I was going to cancel it on July 8th after Fable gets moved to API credit only, because it has ruined all other models for me. But I'm thinking of just cancelling early now, going out on my own terms.
