Remembering the retarded comments about "melee being useless" again in iX3 made me think on how they could incorporate it into scoring. Even without a major overhaul they could simply give him the quick razor bonus in addition to the aerial bonus. This way you'd need to play a bit riskier by more carefully positioning yourself and delaying the hit stun you cause to the enemy by not colliding with them with an air dash but you get more kudos early on in the air kill chain, though eventually you'll need to switch to aerial EX kills after a certain point. That's just scoring though, but these retarded comments never even take into consideration boss fights, which don't take aerial kill comboing into account ever or players who don't play for score in the first place. Based on the little bit of teaser footage in the trailer melee combat looks fast and slick in iX3, so even a casual survival playthrough looks pretty damn fun. Hopefully Tokyo Game Show will have a demo and the first full trailer, also Steam Next Fest is supposed to happen a few more times this year, hopefully we'll get a demo there.
