The number one thing when crafting high end bis items for resale is that there’s no competition. So the way that blizzard has limited competition for crafters in the past was by tying crafting materials to daily quests or to specific farming strategies which were incredibly confusing by the way. And it made it so there was like almost nobody doing it. In classic it wasn’t really like that I think, you could just craft any number of items as long as you could buy it from the ah. When there’s AH competition, the crafters fee goes down dramatically. Not even just by a little like you’ll actually be making almost nothing for the work. It’s also incredibly expensive to post these items on the market, you’re paying like 8 gold to list it and I’d be surprised if you’re making more than 100g. Like you’d expect it to sell eventually, maybe after a few days but the listing fee already cut into the profit. There’s like 20 of them on the market too so you can’t always have the lowest price. I didn’t like daily crafting cooldowns too much, I found that casual players easily managed to fulfil their daily craft and could easily put out items which they really shouldn’t have been able to achieve considering their skill. Daily crafting cooldowns just don’t work well in my opinion. Like sky golem always comes to mind. It took 30 fucking days to make a sky golem. And, it was barely even worth doing. Like id miss my sky golem daily and id be pissed but not angry enough to start screaming in rage. So sky golem did work but that’s because 30 days is a really long time lol that’s a huge commitment. I crafted a few of them, got like decent return but the items that took like a week to craft were complete shit and not worth my time.

Retail had some good changes to dungeons. I think my favorite mob was it had a frontal cone aoe attack, and it had decent telegraphing. And you’d have to actually dodge it. People died to that thing constantly. Like you actually had to watch what was happening, as a dps player that’s somewhat rare to find, even in a raiding situation it’s like the addons do everything almost, and the strategy is already very planned out so there’s like no surprises. Yea, that was the only mob I think I’ve ever seen in wow that actually did something powerful in a dungeon situation. So obviously in open world, which is wows main game, there are tons of threats. They just didn’t add this type of thing to dungeons in classic for some reason. It’s an easy way to make the game more challenging, without increasing the demand to pull more mobs. I just miss smaller pulls I guess, I dunno. It feels more rpg game that way.

So in simplest terms basically, eureka is a lot like landing sword spec. It gives you roughly the same damage as an extra attack would. It’s potentially 60% more damage, if you land all 3 hits. So compare that to nightelf, which gives 10% more damage on every attack. So, nightelf only needs to attack 6 times before breaking even, and has potential to do like way more than eureka would, probably like 5 times more. Humans sword spec will provide 2% more damage, but isn’t on a cooldown. This will provide the most benefit, but you need to be landing way more hits to get value out of it. With the current meta night elf just seems way better. Youre already stun locking your opponent and are likely to get higher value out of night elf’s racial. Human doesn’t seem to compete, but is probably higher raid dps. I guess it just depends on how much of a difference cooldowns make. Fight length in classic is notoriously short, which will probably make night elf the new bis melee class.

Damage of spells is now balanced around having spell damage on your gear (especially on your weapon), but ferals won't have any, and they don't have a talent either similar to shamans/paladins that give spell damage. As a result, hybrid play is dead.This kind of specialization is a bit boring in my opinion. I played druid extensive in classic, and especially in the earlier phases, there's a lot of room for more hybrid playstyles.
