I knew everything that was in it, I already experienced everything that was in it a decade earlier. What excites me with forever is at least now there are SOME new things to shake up the tried and true classic experience. I don't expect every new addition to always hit the mark, but so far it's been enough for me to recapture that sense of wonder and anticipation that I constantly felt during vanilla. Because it's a "new" experience, I've been able to convince a friend, who dabbled in vanilla but hasn't been interested in the franchise since, to pick it up with me. So I'll have the joy of playing the game with a friend, which is something I haven't been able to do since vanilla.

Very streamlined questing process vs classic zones that felt much more organic but also weren't perfectly designed. It's already been shown in a video that skyborne are gonna get SD models, as well as some fixes to current models that need it (like shields floating off of players arms/backs, tauren's back hair not being attached to their body, etc). It's still a beta and they've already shown that they're committed to addressing complaints via the latest update. I expect by launch for most of the cosmetic complaints to be dealt with, but we'll see. If the main thing turning you off is the skyborne, I'd say it's still worth playing despite them. There aren't any skyborne zones beyond their starting one and you can just easily not play as one. The main thing with this is that it's definitively not classic, which as I said, is why I'm excited. There ARE and WILL BE changes. Just gotta accept that they probably won't hit it out of the park with every one, but it looks like what's there is at not a complete disaster. New dungeons are fun, I expect the new raids to be even more fun, especially since they are both 10 and 20 man. Professions look to have gotten a massive overhaul which is also one thing I'm really looking forward to get into. Campfires is a really fun and neat mechanic. Give a shot anon.
