CC better than Ematrix too. Monument stages are permanent unlike tower stages and unique, like defend the middle or your operators being stolen. People (or maybe just the shitposters) kept turning on me whenever I criticized the middle Chapter 2 patches, but clearly enough people also complained to the devs because they walked the fuck back on many of the design/writing choices afterwards. Yinglung Pass, Exclusion Zone and Snowy Forest are one kino after another and I had a BLAST. The somber atmosphere is nice. Endfield tech returns instead of just wuxia magic bullshit. Way less yapping and infodumps, and way more gameplay in the main story. Allei is a fun boss. Characters are overall more grounded and likable, including the ones that previously weren't. They must've whipped their writer or hired a better one.
