The seasonal nature of raids and m+ affects everyone because that's where the bulk of Blizzard attention is going into. I'm not saying they shouldn't exist, there should definitely be challenging end-game content in the game. What I am trying to say, is that Blizzard should maybe put more effort into actual evergreen content that really lasts beyond the current patch. Now, if you were to ask me what that content could be - I couldn't tell you. Why? Because I'm not paid a full-time wage to come up with that shit. The people who are getting paid should be able to come up with a few ideas that could be good. I've just gotten tired of everything becoming useless after the next patch comes out.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm reading that a lot of players are getting fatigued by having such massive resets at the beginning of a new season. Of course there always will be new systems and content to do, but I don't think that means that the previous stuff has to be completely abandoned. There is a problem there. I'm not smart enough to figure out how to fix it, all I know is that the problem exists.

A quest that takes 20 minutes from quest start to quest end in classic takes 90 seconds in retail because of skyriding.
New retail content is a massive investment compared to classic.

Is it worth playing the game without the most recent expack? Friend of mine wants me to play forever when it comes out, but I'm sorta interested in playing retail for the first time in 20 years. I just don't think I want to put the money into the expack for probably less than 100 hours before forever comes out.
