How do people do so much damage as characters? I am trying to learn new characters and when the game ends, win or lose, I end up with very low damage numbers. For example, playing Calico, I know she's very strong, as I have been destroyed by her and seen teammates destroy as her. Then I play, buying the same items as them or using builds, yet end up doing almost nothing. Played a game and only got 27k damage despite constantly using my abilities, being in fights, getting assists, hitting shots/melees, etc. The enemy might have resist items I get it but even in games with a teammate Calico they still pump out big damage. Enemy Calico? Rushes in a blows off half my HP bar in 1 hit. Teammate Calico? Goes in and slaps half the enemy team with a combo. Me? I use every single ability, hit nearly every shot, melee multiple times; barely deal 1/3rd of their entire HP bar. Honestly, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong?

Does anybody else feel like items aren't impactful enough?I know they're good and have lots of powerful abilities, especially actives, but I never really "feel" like I can gauge what an opponent is doing or what items they have matter (except Refresher/Unstoppable/Knockdown of course).
