Why does the latest campaign feel like it was initially supposed to be Zola rather than Hestia? I guess they remembered they need to add a prelude event and mission for sisters of battle like the expeditions missions with Hadron.Hestia feels extremely out of character in the last mission and her snooping on Margrave might suggest she's a disgraced noble?

There's also the mission banter among vets and zealots about scheming going on in the upper spire against the planetary governor, so maybe that's the next plot thread they'll tackle.

Like they were either dethroned, otherwise "cast out" or imprisoned by the now ruling house Margrave for some reason.And Hestia (and probably her family/house) are using the current war for Tertium to rise up again and to take back their rightful place as the ruling house of Atoma Prime and Moebian Domain.I bring up Necromunda specifically because Darktide is heavily inspired by it. So it wouldn't surprise me if they copied the more recent story developements from Necromunda as well.

The governorship of Atoma mostly passed between Barquette and Margrave, the two most powerful houses, so it's also possible and perhaps more likely that Hestia is a Margrave bastard which gives her a tarnished name but a technical claim to the house anyway.

Like for almost 2 decades, the original DH rulebook was released in 2008 btw.And this "limbo" issue could have been due to legal issues, since FFG material is owned by FFG because it was made by them, but the 40k IP belonged to GW.But GW clearly has now started to "warm up" to FFG again seemingly. Evidenced by the new Dark Heresy RPG game being in the works and releasing soon, ish. Which will let Fatshark pull more from it most likely.
