Actually, Ascension core was way worse than original. It introduced a ton of bugs that weren't in original Epoch that ended up never being fixed, or being fixed after months. Simple things like boats not working, but also a lot of new quests broke and a lot of those were never fixed, some class bugs being introduced, and also all the phasing issues.
