RebirthAnon here. I have to admit, I dont like what they did with this part in Rebirth.In the original, you just see the aftermath. This crazy strong enemy you been avoiding, and Sephiroth wrecked its shit. It was spooky way to show his strength and how brutal he is. But is Rebirth, not only are you forced to fight and beat the monster; which takes away from how scary it is, its not an optional boss you must avoid cause its so strong, its a mandatory boss you have to defeat.But then after winning, it drags Cloud to the bottom of the sea, and Sephiroth is there too and he launches the monster up and impales it. And when Cloud swims up, the party doesnt believe him that he just saw Sephiroth, since Cloud is losing it anyway and sees Sephiroth everywhere. It changes the point of the entire thing, its not a showcase of Sephiroth's strength to the party, now it just to shows the viewer and the party thinks Cloud is crazy. Also it was just too over the top in general. Didnt like it.
