Faster progression frontloads the pain but in the long term makes it less of an issue, it won't end up like last season where people were getting farmed by poopsockers using gear that it would take potentially entire months of playtime for casual players to unlock.

I'm checking some of the weapon balance changes in the firing range and I have to say, either the devs are geniuses or absolute morons.All .308 guns got absolutely butchered. The BMR and M14 are literally a 4 shot kill to the upper chest against LVL 2 armor, even with AP ammo. The FAL is now a 5 shot kill the upper chest.The .50cal can only 1 shot at lvl 2 upper chest or head. Lvl 3 or 4 armor requires headshots to 1 shot.I don't remember the BTK of the M4 pre patch but its now 7 shots to the chest against lvl 2 armorMeanwhile the TCX spear with AP is only a 6 shot to kill and you unlock the AP at lvl 60. And even regular 7.62x39 is a 6 shot kill.Also extra: the lvl 4 helmet doesnt affect the third person camera on the little bird, but it does affect sound. When you go into first person to use the aiming reticle it does have that limited view and distortion though.TL;DR: Snipers are DEAD, DMR's are DEAD DEAD, FAL is a waste of money and time, so is the M4, just use the TCX Spear forever.

Had an outrageous game where I bought a 2k infantry kit and a no gun humvee and then went 25 kills before my first death. The obvious solution to progression is IRL time gating per specialty, with 'catch up' mechanics if people join mid season. IE: First week of a new season has specialty caps and maybe even a wardog level cap, with remaining exp after that going towards cosmetics or gold bars perhaps. 2nd week it increases further. 3rd week is no cap, all out warfar with gunships and top tier mbts. If you don't play all the time and jump back in mid season, you get a huge boost for the brackets that already have been passed. In this manner, the poopsockers can grind all they want or as efficiently as they want, but will not be able to pull exponentially ahead in record speed, and their power gap will only exist for a day or two in each bracket.
The only thing I don't like is that Driving is shackled to "Logistics" which is basically just retards spamming pallets in a ural. I think driving has a lot more that could be added to it to remove itself from "Logistics". To me, Logistics should be more than just pallet dumping. Logistics has always been about getting materials and resources where they need to be WHEN THEY ARE NEEDED. etc. Driving being shackled to pallet dumping just retardifies both logistics and driving. Hell maybe logistics should be its own tree somehow.
