I think I figured out what's bugging me about Asmo vs. Elyos: the Asmo story is just boring gobbeldygook thrown at you where they "and then" you over and over again. It's like listening to a little kid try to tell a story they made up but they don't know how to transition events so they just keep introducing new factions or characters. The Elyos story isn't much better but there is marked exploration for each of the side characters in region quests and there's always a clear goal that everyone agrees to even if they have reservations on the methods. Hithanya's abandonment of the group because she could not abide Phernos's methods anymore felt like a very real and normal reaction, but Hadala only leaving Nemon after Ulgorn's death despite raising objections on multiple occasions felt... I don't know, kind of weird. She seemed like the kind of person who would leave way before that and take Ulgorn with her.

Spiritmaster is just a dog shit class right now, bottom of every meter, it has high averages because it's easy to play but there's no way to max it, like the only other thing I can do is use my other spirits for like maybe a 2% damage boost, or I could get level 20 Combustion for a 12%, but that's 2.2% overall, level 20 Elemental Fusion will give me barely anything, just RNG damage, my Stigmas won't give me shit even if I get the other 2 to 20.

Templar has extreme damage mitigation and large health pool with healing received, but lower sources of self healing, Cleric has a ton of healing but less mitigation. Spiritmaster has a ton of self healing and mitigation actives but low base HP. Gladiator has insane self healing but lower mitigation. The rest can't even be considered tanky.

2 different maps for the 2 factions, Elyos and Asmodian; they have 2 different faction specific perma-buff sets, but they don't matter much really. Your wings are white on Elyos, and they're black on Asmodian, but you can change that sort of not that long into the game. Elyos is a colorful land, and Asmodian is sort of wasteland-like. If you're NA most anons are on NA East Zikel(Asmo) with the remainder on NA East Luminel(Asmo). There's some on NA East Nezekan(Elyos), but you should probably avoid that one imo. If you're EU then either EU Nezekan(Elyos)/Israphel(Asmo) are where most EU anons are, with some spread out across many other EU servers that are listed in the OP. You can change servers later within your own faction, but you can't change factions without fully making a new character. Running end-game content is cross-faction/server, but PvP is only with your own faction.
