Expressed as a multiplier means it's adding 55%. If a weapon did 100 damage, the mod would make it do 155. But I've also seen people say base damage mods are useless, that you're better off going for crit chance & multiplier (but somehow having MORE to multiply isn't even better somehow). But a primed base damage mod is +165%, additive, not multiplicative. So, if you put it on a 100 damage weapon, it becomes 265. Am I fucking missing something, or are faction mods pointless and you're better off using that slot for base damage instead? Or is this another Condition Overload where the mod doesn't really say how the mod works?
