You're actually probably going to have to start with Xiranite Batteries to power any of this, though.Now, I see what you're thinking - why not skip directly to Pyronite? And the answer is, endgame recipes are HELLA complicated, you're definitely going to give up if you try to start there. Instead, start with the basics to learn proper habits. MAYBE skip liquids to go to gas, at MOST.Don't worry about space efficiency too much, we get more than enough - you won't even need all your outposts. For a starter factory, just put one building in front of the next in the chain, leaving two spaces to its side if it takes liquids. Just a nice, long chain from output to end product. Build out your factory from the depots, using the unloaders; this will let you make things reasonably uniform. A small run from the core isn't a problem if it's convenient, but it shouldn't be your norm; it should mainly be the place your products go to finish, and you likely want to put it in a corner out of the way. If you run out of space before the end, don't be afraid of running a line into the depot and finishing it up in another outpost - this is just you learning, after all, it doesn't have to look nice. If it really bugs you, you can think of another solution once you're started pushing product.Ah, and remember to make your carbon from Yazhen or Jincao; the game doesn't tell you this until you've made it from Wuling plants, but they make twice as much carbon.Hope that helps; feel free to ask about any more specific pain points!
