Air to Air in VTOL is more proper tactics like dragging, going cold, terrain masking, etc. Air to Ground in VTOL is similar to wt but also a lot more involved, like you're manually moving the gunpod, setting gps points and waiting for the right time to release things. And SEAD is also way more fun and detailed compared to something like say nuclear thunder (low bar). It all controls very well and is pretty intuitive, and the people here have been very nice and helpful.

The radar is also simplified and you don't need to control it vertically or swap modes like WT. Saying VTOL is more laid-back is kinda incorrect but I'm not really sure how to put it. It's like sim-lite almost? More complex than WT due to it being in vr and you having to press buttons but way easier to get into than Digital Cockpit Simulator. The gameplay is very free in the sense that you can just choose whatever loadout you want and approach the scenario however you want. Theres respawns and rearming so you don't have to worry about choosing one thing or locking yourself to one role. I've only scratched the surface so I can't give much of detailed breakdown, some people here have like 300+ hours, In my case I just started. I tried that Chinese l4d2 VR mod and wasn't very impressed. It still has a lot of issues like crosshairs being offset and manual reloading not working with shotguns. Chang hasn't accepted PRs in a while either. I tried fixing it and switching to Pavlov style recoil and spread.

They fixed the sound vibrating the tracking on frame. Patch notes said it was only a problem for some units, which I'd like to know more about. It was really noticeable on flat windows and I was amazed this was ever a problem when we all know valve made this headset just to play card games on the couch.
