Our proph prog did Riverside Province and Sanctum cay today. We also did a few skill quests and got our 15 attribs. Today we beat Mallyx the Unyielding, for anyone who's first time beating him you can now display a HoM statue for it.Next saturday weekend we can either do: 1)Shards of Orr and try to roll for some BDS 2) Slaver's Exile full gauntlet run (hardest EotN dungeon)3) HM FoWReply with your preference. I kind of want to wait another week or 2 so we can do HM FoW, then the next week our proph prog can do an ironman of NM FoW. Speaking of which on the current docket: I estimate we are about 4/5 weeks out from beating prophecies. This means GvG's will be happening mid may, if you've never done them before this is an excellent chance to try them out and see why they are so beloved I will be preparing prizes like last time. We'll be doing Sorrows Furnace, Tomb of Primevils, NM FoW, and possibly the titan quest as well in the future after that our proph prog will be complete.

What is the most enjoyable campaign (that is, skillset/access to skills) to level a Ranger?

Our SoO runs were pretty rough tonight we decided to not do SC so we pugged it with random comps and went and while fun was a bit disasterous, our 2nd run was much faster. However I kind of want to see how much we can optimize this legit without having to resort to speedrun shenengians Current thoughts are a comp something like this, I present to you: SoO dervwayPremise is pretty simple. Dervs run holy scythe and hit undead like truck. A dagger ranger with ebon + TaO for extra melee damage. Orders vampire which will give all melee life steal on attacks + extra damage and 2X adrenaline gain. Ritual Lord ritualist for max level recup + rejuv (effectively +16 regen pips, 23 total if we count TaO) along with even more condi removal healing recovery will make condis last -60%. SoS rit for splinter weapon and extra damage, with spirit gift can provide AoE condi removal. Finally a port monk using life sheath since we have no ST it'll give some extra condi removal cover and easy access to healing.It might be better if one of the dervs dropped LoD for SV, since well have necro support they'll be able to maintain SV real easily.What do you guys think? Kinda want to try this next SoO we run to see how fast we can make a non SC clear go.

>>1261848Late reply logged off for the night for the most part but no, you pre port yourself and use heal breeze->pull/ball->SoJ and tab space bar attack so they will run away then re aggro after knocking themselves down also spam smite condi off cd because they spam cripple/bleed/deep wound so it’s a ez 105dmg per cast then 110 per attack they do on you if you get lucky they won’t run as much also with the mobs that cast nibble you walk away from any existing corpses for like half a second so they don’t spam heal. All in all it’s a pretty quick run if done right, my best times have been 4-6minutes 1-3plat from chests and drops. If I get suuuper lucky and no mesmers spawn and it’s just locks/rangers after initial pull I can clear to the white mantle gate which is about 10 minutes for an easy 5k.

Why is intensity so weird about when it double hits with aoe skills? Like when I cast it and star burst on the training dummies it will double hit most of the nearby ones but not the adjacent ones. Also it sucks it only trigger once when hitting multiple targets instead of triggering for each hit, especially when splinter weapon can trigger multiple times on the same target for stuff like scythes or barrage.

Today in HA we managed to make it all the way to Hall of Heroes. We got 24 total favor today winning a total of 5 or 6 matches. We NEARLY won HoH if you watch the replay video on observe you can see we dominated blue the entire time, we just didn't play the mode right, and they had a few REALLY experienced players on their team.For a first attempt where half the team had ever done organized PvP before or even played these builds. Today in HA we ran 2 attempts made it to HoH both times, and incase anyone had any doubts as to our guild being a seriouz pvp only guild, we had one chad show up with a PvE character who was missing his 30 attribute point quests, done purposefully of course to flex on the enemy cause he didn't need them. lost to zurrie again this time he had more human teammates fortunately so wasn't as embarrassing, 2nd time we got a relic run against a different full player team. Once again inexperience showed as we went to relic run the opposite teams relic... oops probably should of clarified run our own relic.But besides that initial half game fuck up, once we figured out "oh we need to run our own relic" and got into snaring we started doing pretty well. Started consistently spiking their players down, body block caught one of their relic runners couple of times even near full wiped them. Final score was 10-23. Still a crushing defeat but we're definitely improving.

HA today started a bit slow, we hit HoH again against zurrie (it was the HoH Game 13 minutes ago from this post) we honestly did really well this time. Start was rough and we wiped once but after that our spike game was super CLEAN. Final score was 5-9. What got us this time was positioning, toward end we had like 4 people converge together and they got nuked which caused us to lose the center.Overall quite happy with the rate this group has improved. We'll do our invoke spike team meme dreams for one last day, after that I think we'll try out another memecomp (Thinking IWAY just cause its hilarious). In total our group has gotten 100+ favor these last few days.ALSO PROPH PROG ON FRIDAY AT 7 PM, WE WILL DO HA LATER IN THE NIGHT.

It's harder to master than a spike build but it's way more versatile and robust against full human teams, which is something we now seem to lack. Invoke doesn't run much control outside of wards and gale neither, we could do with more kd's and rupts to stay on top of the situation, I think. These are all suggestions, I'm down for whatever. Do you guys think ST rit is worth the bother outside of DoA/UW/HM dungeons? I get that it's a very strong prot build, but I can't imagine standing in front of every single group of enemies in a vanquish summoning all the spirits manually. I already stopped using MM in most content purely because its strength was not worth how much it slows everything down. I see people use ST everywhere, and I always wonder why. Is it still better than other backline builds even if you don't bother micro'ing spirits before a fight?
