And wow, some of these buffs are super unfair. Axes, fists, and bows got crazy favoritism while guns, books, and fans (i.e most of the units I use) got totally shafted. The units with the best upgrades that I own are probably Airen, Dulcie, and Rakion (does she even get the triple/quad shot during skill?) so maybe I'll start with them.

Checking the stage, those clerics have 5.8k ranged magic attacks is probably why. Chapter 10 SP really tests your annihilation power as it's really just a lot of normal mobs with very high stats.

Felt substantially easier than the previous one. Bouguereau really is the best. Nukes for 99999 when her buffs are up.

That Red Dragon on floor 20 was a real pain to clear. The challenge for the skill recipe should probably be incredibly easy since you can just let it through.

Rafuka's EX2 is a more remarkable difference. 2x range. She is saved.

If I were you, I'd probably reroll/dump all my resources into the Valentines banner (one is a healer and puller, the other is a knockbacker and stun gauge depleter) and Swimsuit Ruruka banner (knockbacker, damage amp, and demon puller) to make a demon team. You could also try rerolling the demon banner for Claudia (demon puller and buffer, one of the best units in the game) or Mahamut (force-pusher) if you're crazy.
And getting spooked by 2 star Marion (force-pusher) 10 times to get her to 3 stars will be one of your long term goals. She'll be useful against most bosses.
As for generosity, I feel like I get a sparks worth of gems every month or two, maybe even faster. You can also slowly get (or paypig for) star pieces, which let you buy any character you want for 500 of them.

I would say it's overall generous. The game wins first place on fanza popularity rankings extremely often which is 1k gems each time that happens. They give out a fuck ton of tickets that can be used to pull a general pool gacha. Every unit in the game gets added to that pool with the only exceptions being collab characters and limited characters. There have only been two collab units and two limited new years units so far, so basically every character ends up there. There are also elemental crystals and star pieces that they drip feed you. 100 of the elemental crystals can be exchanged for a 60% chance of a three star in that element and the star pieces can be exchange outright for a unit.
As for a guide, just roll whoever you want. The only thing that you might miss is adding 20 "friends" so you get friend points daily.

Finally cleared all the content after letting it back up for awhile. Floor 6 challenge was still pretty rough even with the youkai bard, new class upgrades, and the abyss weapons for certain characters. The common dark elf weapon is surprisingly strong with +120% attack if you don't get hit.

Googling around, ProtonVPN was the most recommended, so it's going to be a bit before a new best free VPN for Japan emerges, unless it brings the JP servers back. There are probably a few VPN apps with free Japan servers, but there's a ton of them and none of them are upfront about what servers are free or not. The VPN app that explicitly has Japan in the name probably works but it has sub 4-star reviews and is slow as fuck according to them. A name I saw twice in VPN lists for Japan is Windscribe though it also has mixed reviews that are more polarized between it working great and not at all. I've never hit the region blco so I believe I'm on the paypig whitelist so I can't help much with VPN experience.

So when I did the quest I checked it to see what was up the the apology part, thought it was going to be something like how Lugal should be the one apologizing for being too weak.
Pannier's saying she already apologized, but Lugal isn't accepting or doesn't understand her casual/slang "mengo mengo" apology.

Gonna skip Arge because my Waemawa will kill everything before she can. Wish we had gotten Ephtra instead.

You just missed Arge from Aigis, but while she's absurdly destructive, she's the first unit to be fully non-healable which is actually a very considerable drawback. 2nd Anni should be soon, so there will probably something good to roll then.

As the guy who does pastebin writeups I am having issues with both these tierlists. Though that's just the nature of tierlists.
For the gamerch one, there's a bit too many units I'd say are over/under rated comparative to similar units. The most sheer gap is Badagi versus Lagos when they do mainly the same thing. I can solo King Slime with both of them with Badagi performing a few seconds faster, but the difference isn't remarkable enough to say Badagi is SS while Lagos is C. Badagi isn't good at bombing due to lack of attack multiplier even if she has redeploy reduction, so she doesn't have much utility. And it's that bombing that gets other monks rated so high in the first place.
For the other guy's tierlist, it's clear he hasn't used some units and he even has a disclaimer for it. Anisira is definitely not the worst shaman. He tiers by class which is probably better than it being all out there, but it strictly dodges the issue of some classes just being worse in general at the same roles. Lancer for example, while Mama is top tier for a Lancer being a pseudo Shaman, you could also just use a normal Shaman which is a problem that plagues the Lancer class as a whole outside of Ranchiki. However the absolute king of DP Gen is swimsuit Okyu who does it while also being a strong DPS which makes the Lancer class even more deprecated while Shamans all have various support capabilities.

There's many more nitpicks I could make, but I'll end with Dulcie being criminally underrated. When built for -cooldown, stages become a joke and she's even more ridiculous now that Tantarupupu exists.

Also made a simple Panatis showcase. She's very much a fuck this enemy in particular unit. The thing I realized about monk bombing is the vast majority of the time you're targeting elites/NPCs with them. Any fodder clearing is mostly a bonus. Specializing into dueling essentially improves their most common use case. I feel like she's better than Airen and Nace, considering the subskill flexibility. Though she does need cc4 and the 1 dupe.

Well that was difficult. I actually had to use everything I have for this. It has so much HP you can only push 5 levels at a time, and you need to skill cancel Lulu and manually time her for icicles which do over 100k damage at this point. Pushkinia if I'm remembering the name right surprisingly doesn't hurt that much harder throughout the entirety of this, but Ifijar has 50-100k HP. She too does not survive the icicles despite that.

I ended up dropping Nigiryu for Kokonoha since I needed DP Gen. Dana Dilly took a slot from a Bard due to that as well. 12% more HP from Miteras also beat out another Bard. Final niche pick was Anse for insurance in case somebody still got ganked by icicles as they can rarely hit a spot twice. It might be better to drop Kokonoha for the Ophiotaur for more barriers.

The paid skins come with a scene and can only be bought (and used?) on DMM. There's other skins you can buy with free gems and some free skins from events too.
You can get points for paid gems from the seasonal DMM campaigns and mission medals, although that won't ever add up to anything significant due to the expiration.

very f2p friendly. the game is easy but fun and it gives out enough gems where you can roll for whatever character you want. Almost all seasonal alts are in the permanent pool, so you have a chance to randomly roll swimsuit/christmas/etc version of characters. there are also ~2 free units per month given out for free from events. There have only been 3? paid units and one of them was funtanari, so effectively only 2 paid units for most people. You can still borrow them as a helper in almost every stage.

Wow, the new flying monk does way more damage than Airen on placement, and she doesn't even need Start Charger. Airen can close the damage gap a bit by getting all hits off with her skill, but the new monk still beats her quite comfortably.
Also, as a giantess enjoyer, her scenes are pretty good.

All buffs/debuffs stack. The biggest thing holding her back is the 1000% stat cap. On the other units. Alicetroemeria is basically Alice 2 or more accurately Alice+1. She has natural doubleshot and quadshot during skill. Great DPS though not very unique outside of that. Illias is unfortunately kind of meh. Shaman that gives regen and stuns not stun-immune enemies in range every 20 seconds. Skill gives 40/50% damage reduction to allies. Promestein is the Deathstrike user's new best friend. +40% attack buff for 20 seconds when healing somebody. Yes, it stacks. Main caveat is she won't heal somebody fully overhealed though her skill increasing max HP means she usually goes a round over everybody when it activates. Hild I can't say for sure as I still haven't started the event yet.

Yeah, it's 40% of Promestein's base attack. The desperate/deathstrike is for the unit being healed so they continuously take damage so she keeps healing and stacking buffs on them. Promestein you want to max her base attack.
