I played both betas, I'm also a day 1 pgr and genshin player so I don't have beef with either company.Imo, WW at launch will have better and more content availabe than Genshin had in 1.0, but most likely people will compare it to the current 4 y.o. genshin with all the polish and QoL improvements it's received, so ww will understandably not live up to hype.Combat is amazing; I never got bored fighting bosses, but trash, overworld mobs got juggled way too easily, so those fights were boring.Exploration is better and way faster in ww, which feels great. but might make the world seem smaller to the players. Echo farm is also nice, and I found it more tolerable than artifact farm in genshin.My two main issues are one: jumping while running in ww is really janky. The character pauses momentarily, and the jump has little to no forward momentum. Also, if you dash at the edge of a terrain you get stuck on it instead of flying off.Two: the font looked very fucking cheap. It's like the font you see when you translate words on an image/screenshot.There are some issues, and they might not be fixed, but the game is really fun. My advice would be to go into it with 0 expectations, and to give it an honest try.

I don't really play gacha, and never a genshinlike. So there's a base rate for 5* characters that's really low (like 0.7%), but you're guaranteed one every 80 rolls (pity). Once you get the 5* the 80 counter then resets. As you get close to 80 (like above 60/80) your chances of getting a 5* per roll slowly ramp up (soft pity) so people don't feel like they're getting shafted going to exactly 80 every time. But how do 4* characters work with the "guaranteed every 10 rolls" bit? If you fail 9 in a row, on that 10th roll do you have 99.3% chance to get a 4*, like you get a normal roll and if it's not a 5* or 4* you get a 4*?
