i love rain pictures
>>55724047Me too. The sound of rain droplets splashing against the ground, a soft thunder from above... a lot of people, myself included, find it very relaxing.
>>55725387I love the rain. Today it's raining
>>55724127how did somebody draw this? I'm baffled thinking that a human can recreate light this perfectly
>>55727329Ikr it's so good
>>55727275Did you go out in it or watch it from a window? Also lovely art!
>>55727356A rainbow after a refreshing rain... beautiful. And I bet the air smells amazing, too.
>>55726183Nothing like a hot meal on a cool, rainy day
>>55727329Self-taught Japanese artists will casually make fan art and hentai that surpasses the greatest works of the Old Masters and then randomly disappear from the internet without a trace.
>>55724047What are some quintessential rain pokemon?
>>55738897You mean for a rain team?
>>55738778Aww keeping the fire pup from getting wet! So sweet!
I love this thread, very comfy, but the idea of warer type pokemon needing leaf umbrellas is funny to me
>>55724047This thread made me happy I like this thread
R2SA
Rain is the shittiest weather.
>>55743194I disagree, something so therapeutic about the sound, the smell, the atmosphere. Everything looks so colourful and lush after too.
>>55743245Picture didn't attatch for some reason
>>55743194
>>55741161haha what if their pants fill up with water haha
>>55743554
>>55743194Seems some anon forgot their umbrella/rain gear and got rained on. :p>>55743245This. It's almost if a good shower refreshes and reinvigorates the world around you.
>>55745852We might be anomalies, most people seem to not enjoy the rain as much if at all. Personally I'd love to live somewhere it rains often, I've had my fill of half a years worth of snow in Canada.
>>55746277I don't think we are, at least not to an extreme. Rain ASMR is not at all uncommon, and supposedly the sound of rain falling can enhance alpha brain waves in a similar way that other white/pink sounds do. It's not unusual to find people that will say the sound of rain is relaxing. I know very little of Canada, but maybe you could move to Prince Rupert or Port Alberni one day, where you could enjoy the rain more frequently.
>>55747098alternatively.
>>55747059It's been raining for the past week here, and temperatures are still above 30c on average everyday. Couple that with the humidity, not fun at all.
>>55747251That temperature doesn't sound bad on its own, but factor in high humidity, then yeah, I can see that not being pleasant.
Good thread.
>>55747059That's true, it's definitely not uncommon enough to be called anomalous, but I do think everyone still hates to get rained on to some degree, and those are great suggestions thanks! Maybe one day I'll make it happen
>>55749781Well even someone like me that enjoys the rain doesn't actually like getting rained ON, haha. Now as long as I have an umbrella or a raincoat? I don't at all mind being out in it (assuming it's not a downpour). Being near an open window as it rains is pretty comfy and my preferred way to enjoy a nice, not-too-intense shower/thunderstorm. If you can afford to move and don't have to give up more than you're going to gain in the process, definitely think about heading somewhere that you're going to enjoy living out your life. :)
>>55749988Agreed, although I kinda like being caught out in the rain, I usually regret it after lol. I do feel a sense of guilt if I stay inside during a nice sunny day, but whenever it rains or snows it just feels so nice to be the one looking outside.Thank you anon :) I wish you the best as well in wherever you decide to settle
>>55724047I used to like rain growing up, but now, I ffukikkin hatteeeeee having to pan-handle in the rain fuckin begging for change getting wet BUT I GOTTA DO WHAT I GOTTA DO
>>55751324Are you forreal bro? I'm so sorry to hear that, hope things are getting better for you.
"almost everyone associates their bad days with rainy days. I kinda like the rain."rain is an odd thing to/for me.I used to despise rain; it made me cold, wet, uncomfortable, and it was all and all a bad thing to me. ..but now? I love it. the rain gets a bad rep, and it really is a good thing. it's a serene noise, it's so peaceful, and it's just atmospheric. It waters plants and makes little droplets on them, it makes camping trips truly feel like a camping trip (if it doesn't leak into your tent, that is.), and it creates some absolutely beautiful art. one day, when I can, I just want to walk as much as I can in the rain.
>>55753754Word
>>55753754that was beautiful anon
>>55755208swore I saw this before! it's in my card binder :o>>55755385thanks..! this entire thread makes me so happy.
>>55757025:)
>>55759490Oh no! He's getting wet!Oh... wait... he doesn't seem to mind.
>>55755280Look how happy he is!<3
>>55757025How many cards do you have, and how long have you been collecting them? Must be fun to just sometimes page through your binder!
>>55724047All I want are Pokemon games that match the feel of the scenes from the credits of the early movies.
>>55765823
>>55746676Just chillin in the freshly fallen rain. Must feel nice!
>>55738914Nah, I mean in general. What pokemon appear to your mind the moment you think of rain(don't think of pokemon tournaments)
comfy thread
>>55769878Indeed!
>>55765027not much, honestly! I only have about 3 tins full, which for someone as autistic about pokemon as I am? is pretty fucking small .w.I DO, however, have a whole-ass tin full of 2006-2010 cards, and that shit is beautiful.>>55767507also, NTA, but the ones I can think of immediately are Lotad, Parasect, Politoed & Kyogre (for obvious reasons), Goomy, and honestly just a bunch of grass and bug pokemon.
>>55767507Forgot to reply to thisPolitoed, Pelipper (I know you said don't think in those terms but I can't separate the Drizzle, Swift Swimmers, Dry Skin, ect in my mind at this point lol), Goomy line, Lotad line, Swampert (all water starters I guess), Bulbasaur, Kyogre, Zapdos, Lugia, Castform, pretty much any mon that benefits from fire being weakened, electric types in a thunderstorm like Pikachu line, Electivire, Mega-Manectric.
>>55724090Cute
Just me necroing this thread I guess
>>55772650nice :)is there a particular card that if you could find and get would put you over the moon?
>>55779205well.. it's off topic, but honestly, any of the fancy alt art Acerola cards...that, or the full art Yuka Morii cards (Drapion V, Snivy & Venusaur Tag Team). If it wasn't obvious, she's a gigantic inspiration for me.
>>55724090Is he crying because the rain is his fault?
>>55725387>sitting under a tree during a storm
>>55775581Oh no what happened to them :(
>>55783448Something that gave birth to hatred and vengeance in corporeal form...
>>55724047>protecting Croagunk from the rain>when it has the Dry Skin ability, which restores HP under rainwhy
>>55724047Me too.I'll give what I've got
Fun thread
>>55785893Absolutely. Thanks to all the anons that shared comfy rain art. I hope that all of you get to enjoy a cozy rain in the near future (hopefully from the comfort of a room with a nice, big window, rather than outside in it, lol)! <3
