This is when I realized Pokemon as I knew it was dead. Megas didn't exist to bring weaker, older Pokemon up to speed, it was primarily to make popular Pokemon even moreso. To make popular weaker Pokemon stronger instead of Pokemon who deserved buffs more than them. This is a popular pseudo legendary who's an incredible Pokemon and it got given a Mega just because of its popularity and even then the Mega is worse than the original. These new designs were for merchandise and not to improve the gaming experience or develop the world. They're soulless. Pokemon abandoned the spirit of Pokemon.
