Goodra is a nice alternative, hakamo-O is good as well. You're far more likely to encounter charmers down in the low ranks, or degenerate fast move teams. Sure lanturn beats all charmers, but god forbid they're aba charm and you're just fucked. Also, lanturn can beat bastiodon, but the common basti/wiggly/vic team is just a top left units your opponent is a drooling retard.Attack weighted dragonair is good, let's you beat wiggly, and bulk lanturn is king. If you have a skarmory you can just run dragonair/lant/skarm. Either lead dragonair and 2s every single neutral or winning lead, or lead one of the other two and swap dragonair to get back switch in bad matchups. You'll need to study which pokemon dragonair can 2s though. Dragonair can't 2s beat gligar so don't even try, you're risking IV shenanigans to try and 2v1 it. Best bet is to just throw two atails on cmp and let your dragonair go to farm down with something else.

I'm thinking of running Mantine/Lickitung/either Registeel or British Stunfisk, depending on which is easier to get a good IV one of, mainly because I already built a rank ~200 Mantine for Jungle Cup and had a lot of fun using it. I do have a couple dozen other mons in the bank in case you guys have any other team suggestions, but I definitely don't have any shadow dragons. I'm not trying to climb or anything, just a casual tanker looking for excuses to build top-tier mons for when I actually want to push for legend.
