this update was ok, and wasn't as shit as some past ones, but also didn't really raise my opinions of this gamehaving a full start over i guess isn't too bad since we're coming back to empire after having not played it in a while, but for someone playing the full game and gets reset back to 0 at the end of the current update, that seems very fucking weird. also, not knowing how this is going to work (will the new teams get erased? can they catch up levelwise when the old team comes back? when is the old team coming back?) is really annoying. it was at least i guess nice that the pokemon selection was a lot different to early game, and that you weren't dealing with as many insanely autistic moves and strategies that were flying around at the end of the last update.flegetont itself is probably one of the better looking and better mapped areas in empire and the sidequests weren't as big of a piece of shit as before, and i did kind of like the focus on exploration and having to trade in unique forms of currency, though it would suck if i wanted to use any of the pokemon that you have to trade away and get a limited supply of. the boss fights outside of isabella are whatever, but i guess under certain circumstances you don't fight her, so fuck it. (also before i hit post, i forgot the waterfag, fuck him too) at least there was no gay as fuck puzzle or some extremely time wasting autism + shit area to go through this time, even if this is just the same gimmick as farm hell. the one thing of course is that octavius in all his autism makes it so that you have no direction and are thus constantly running into trainers who are way too strong and fucking you over.also, the 'giving up the ability to save' thing, and then making you satisfy even more brutal conditionals on top of that to get literally any fucking good rewards, is massively retarded. hopefully there will be better shit next episode, but not holding my breath.i'd still say empire is a 3/10, i guess
