Great colors across the board with these also, but the shading is off, it looks like multiple light sources are considered for shading when in reality it should only be one, and for Gen 4+ sprites that light source should be illuminating most of the sprite.

I'm making my own dex and I've run into a bit of a problem /vp/.I want to make a car pokémon. Something to represent Detroit and history of the automative industry. Gym Leaders specialize in either Poison or Steel Type. Share a racing theme. They hand out a Driver's License that allows people to have a ride pokémon. Should I use Varoom/Revaroom or steal from another region and use this cool beetle I found? It has everything I want in a car fakemon design.

Someone threw the idea of a weak winged bug evolving into a larval/worm adult so I decided to do something with it . First stage is based on on a queen ant/ termites in its winged stages and a spoiled princess. It charms other Pokemon into doing its bidding. Second Stage is based on queen ant that has mated and shed its wings, a dragon with a treasure hoard. Gems are the source of its power, it mind controls other pokemon to tend to its every need and bring it more gems.

Maybe Venomoth. Just a two stage bug that skips the cocoon. Goes from a fuzzy caterpillar to a fuzzy moth. Pinchu is based off of the Dagger Moth Caterpillar - a fuzzy yellow caterpillar with irritating hairs. In this case they carry an electrical charge. It also happens to look a little bit like Pikachu. As for Lepiterai, that one is still up in the air design wise. For a long time I was going to carry the Pikachu mimicry by having its wings just look like a Raichu's ear. But I've abandoned that now. Still say I'm going to base it off of Plumed Moths - a type of moth with a long thin body and weird feathery wings. But I could always change that to the Flannel Moth. They're very fuzzy.
