For me it was Iono or Lacey. Carmine, Perrin, Dendra, and Katy were good choices too. Nemona and Penny were absolute trash tier.

And prime wife material; Arven. Carmine grew on me though. You've got contrast between her initial impression and when she seems to take you as her confidant and seems really warm and familiar with you. That got more of a reaction out of me than Nemona.

Maybe have dedicated side stories for certain characters, such as exploring Nemona’s relationship with her family, or helping Penny reconnect with her sister. Or even a deeper dive into the mystery of Area Zero in order to tie up any loose ends. I hope we revisit these characters in other material like Pokémon Adventures or Pokémon Horizons, because this is the most attached I’ve been to a cast of characters in this franchise yet.
