That's it. I'm sick of all this "Masterwork Landorus-Therian" bullshit that's going on in the OU tier right now. Sandslashes deserve much better than that. Much, much better than that.I should know what I'm talking about. I myself commissioned a genuine Sandslash in Kanto for 2,400,000 Pokedollars (that's about $20,000) and have been practicing with it for almost 3 years now. I can even cut slabs of solid steel with my sandslash.Sandslash trainers spend years training a single sandslash and they EV train up to a million times to hone the finest blades known to mankind.Sandslash claws are thrice as sharp as Kalosian aegislashes and thrice as hard for that matter too. Anything an aegislash can cut through, a sandslash can cut through better. I'm pretty sure a sandslash could easily bisect a Groudon with full physical defensive investment with a simple vertical slash.Ever wonder why medieval Kalos never bothered conquering Japan? That's right, they were too scared to fight the disciplined Samurai and their Sandslashes of destruction. Even in World War II, Unovan soldiers targeted the men with the sandslashes first because their killing power was feared and respected. So what am I saying? Sandslashes are simply the best ground type that the world has ever seen, and thus, require better stats in generation 9. Here is the stat block I propose for Sandslashes:(Kantonian form)Ground/Steel115 HP140 Attack120 Defense25 Special Attack97 Special Defense103 SpeedAbilities: Tough Claws, Multiscale, Sand Rush(Alolan form)Ice/Steel115 HP135 Attack120 Defense25 Special Attack102 Special Defense103 SpeedAbilities: Refrigerate, Multiscale, Slush RushNow that seems a lot more representative of the combat power of Sandslashes in real life, don't you think?tl;dr = Sandslashes need to do more damage in Pokemon, see my new stat block.

>>57178165Pretty much exactly what I want, though I'd move 10 HP into Attack for 130 and give it a dual-typing.Dark/Fairy is a really strong typing and it'd get STAB Play Rough.Dark/Poison is also very strong and thematically could be like it got rabies.Dark/Ghost has three immunities, a resistance, and only one weakness, but is offensively not great.Dark/Steel can't go wrong with, but it'd be kinda odd seeing Mightyena suddenly covered in metal.
>>57181920Good point
>>57181920>Dark/Ghost>but is offensively not greatholy retard
>>57181920boy I;m glad pokemon fans don't make Pokemon when their ideas are "what's good" and not "what fits". We don't need even more minmax bs than gen 9 is already giving us with the same 12 or so "good type combinations"
>>57182759Then what is your proposal that "fits"?
>>57182759the Dark/Poison one was good enough. The rest were just "because it's good, I want it". Nothing else is really fitting unless you want to go Ground because it's a dog and dogs dig. Frankly there's nothing wrong with single type Pokemon, not everything needs a dual type.

Delcatty evolution.Skitty to Delcatty evo method changed to Level 25. Delcatty used Moon Stone.Delcatty Stats.HP: 70Atk: 65Def: 65Sp. Atk: 55Sp. Def: 80Speed: 125Total: 550Reworked Normalize: The Pokémon's moves are all treated as Normal type if that would deal more damage, otherwise it keeps it's original typing.Abilities: Normalize, MoxieHidden Ability: ScrappyIt would also get more Physical moves, such as Iron Head, Crunch, Superpower, Psychic Fangs and Dragon Claw Also it'd get more set up moves like Swords Dance and Bulk Up.Alternatively you could make it a Special Attacker and swap it's physical stats with it's special stats. In this scenario, Moxie would be swapped with a Special Equivalent.

I'd give it a slight buff to it's base statsHP: 45 > 60Atk: 55 > 80Def: 45 > 85Sp. Atk: 65 > 70Sp. Def: 45 > 70Speed: 75 > 95Total: 330 > 460Then I'd give it branched evo. One that remains Ice/Flying and becomes a bulky Special Attacker, keeping the Santa Motif and a fast, Mixed but slightly more Physical attacker based on Krampus, Ice/Fire.SantaHP: 105Atk: 45Def: 125Sp.
