Bidoof was/is the cutest Ratatta expy, it could learn all of the HMs that were weak enough that you didn’t want them on your main bros, and the evo is bulky enough that you could still get some use out of him if you gave him some of the harder hitting hms.

everyone had to have a bidoof/bibarel on their team as an HM slave. ot became a meme due it's forced usage and goofy appearance.

goofy looking shitmon that ends up on every team because as bibarel it can learn cut, surf, strength, rock smash, waterfall, and rock climb
