>Event's like the Oak's letter and Member card were mystery gift events that only lasted for a month about 3 years ago
What the fuck? Why would they permanently lock those things forever? It's one thing to do a meaningless shiny raid event but those were actual game content wtf

because fomo

Because they don't want you buying the game on clearance in 7 years time and being able to experience the content people who paid on release got to. This has always been the case, paypig up within 3 months of launch or get fucked povvo.

shit like that is why everyone emulates everything but the latest game

Funny enough I got the game on release but didn't feel like going through 4th gen at the time for whatever reason so I also missed out lol

FOMO shit, for a failed game it's the funniest thing. Even PLA, which sold less than BDSP, had free DLC and the mythicals are unlocked by save data.
Reminder too that Peacharunt, and the end of the DLC storyline is locked behind an event timewall in SV.

at least the DS is able to connect to the internet
but for us GBA and earlier players you cant get it at all barring some pomeg berry glitching.
