Because like 10 people on this board actually plays the games apparentlyHere's mine, just got through with Azalea Town Silver (sidenote: holy fuck early Ekans sucks ass.)
>>57203954>holy fuck early Ekans sucks ass.Honestly true but I actually think that HGSS Arbok is woefully underrated. Hell, even as Ekans it still has Intimidate, which absolutely fucks as an ability and is a great counter to Whitney's Miltank. It evolves quite early at level 22 and learns Crunch upon evolution, which checks its Psychic weakness and comes just in time for Morty. It learns a handful of great physical moves and is rather fast to boot. Throw in the elemental fangs in there for good measure and you straight up have a great mon
My last run of Emerald Legacy for a while. I did a team of mons with 9 letters.>GardevoirRalts evolves earlier and Charm/Psybeam are new level up moves but Psychic is learned much later to compensate. >Ninetales (+5 HP, Defense, Sp.Attack, -5 Attack)You can catch Vulpix on Route 116 now as a nice early game mon. Special Shadow Ball was a welcome addition. >SalamenceI was initially planning to use Manectric but I wanted a flyer to make the annoying late game quicker and it didn't get any notable changes aside from starting with Thundershock. You can catch Bagon early at Meteor Falls (4%). >Azumarill (+20 Sp.Attack)Marill can be caught eariler on Route 104. It's often safe to switch in to.>Piloswine (+20 Sp.Attack, Sp.Defense)Found on Shoal Cave. Not as fun to use as Sneasel in the campaign but I imagine it has potential in the Battle Frontier. >Vileplume (+15 HP, +10 Defense)Nothing worth mentioning.
>>57203954xenoverseFirst time playing this but I think this is THE generic team that everyone has used
Was trying to go for pokemon I wouldn't normally use in Sun, and to give them all nicknames for once. Surprisingly, Misdreavous has been the most effective of the lot so far, at least after getting an Eviolite. But spamming Decidueye's Z-Move has also been pretty reliable recently.
>>57203954>chikoritabased.
>>57203954replaced aggron for kingambit variant since it felt like ass to use in this game and I've already used it in games where it's good anyway (desolation). Will add something to deal with ground types since they're pretty painful to deal with, probably replacing haxorus with hydrapple.
this is what I just finished platinum with.
Just became champion
>>57203954Say konnichuwa to my team
>>57207247BBBBOOOOOOOOOOooooooooorrrRRRRIIIING
>>57207419Latios should be blimp-sized
Probably the most generic team I've used in a while.
>>57207247Based
>>57208245This team isn't generic at all, anon. It's actually quite based. Lunatone, Sharpedo and Froslass are all excellent underrated choices.
Pokemon Legends teamI’m ready to take on Volo.
>>57209047>I’m ready to take on Volonot with that shit team you're not.
up
Played for a bit, at Goldenrod.
>>57207203yanmega is so busted in this game and trivializes everything I'm considering booting it from the team because its too good. pretty sure its parental bond ability doubles flich chance too because I always get fliches, as if air slash wasn't already a nuke, just look at this shit
>>57210516flinch*, fuck
>>57203954First time playing Scarlet, I've been swapping between two teams all game to try and be a little underleveled. After completing Area Zero I've stuck w this one to beat all the gym leader rematches
>>57210775Time for you to play the best two parts of the game
still playing crystal clear. have 12 badges, beat the league once. not a fan of the custom elite 4, but everything else I loved. Beat the league with Misdreavus, Marowak, and Jumpluff (replacing Victribel), prob gonna explore the rest of the map and catch legendaries before moving on to something else.
Currently playing Modern Emerald. Just beat Norman, and I'm now exploring all the places that have opened up thanks to Surf before continuing with the story.I thought Torkoal was going to be a bit of a shitmon, but I've been pleasantly surprised by just how high its defenses are. It can easily withstand several SE attacks.Swablu, though, is kinda disappointing. It doesn't really get good Flying coverage... the only attacking Flying-type move it gets through level-up is Peck, which is absurd. All in all, though, while the early-game was hard, after I beat Wattson, the game got easier. I beat Flannery and Norman in one try, despite not really having SE moves against them.
I plan on replaying shield on an actual switch this time. Idk what mons to use. I like gen 8's roster I missed out on the initial release Should I take advantage of the QoL changes and make multiple teams? >>57211253Swablu is one of those pokemon you gotta use TMs on unfortunately
>>57211277I'd say to go for it. SwSh are some of the easiest entries, so having multiple teams would help with the massive amounts of EXP the game hands out to you.> Swablu is one of those pokemon you gotta use TMs on unfortunatelyBut that's the thing - it only learns two Flying TMs... Aereal Ace, and Fly. Both are okay moves, I suppose. Honestly, Flying as an attacking type is kinda garbage - it is sorely missing in high-BP 100% accuracy moves.
>>57211347>it only learns two Flying TMs... Aereal Ace, and Fly. Both are okay moves, I suppose. Honestly, Flying as an attacking type is kinda garbage - it is sorely missing in high-BP 100% accuracy moves.Yeah but it's in game gen 3 and pokemon learning high BP moves naturally are few and far between you'll be fine.
>>57211347I might do that, I played with Rillaboom before but I want to use cinderace this time. Is the DLC worth it?
>>57211371I suppose that's true. Thanks anon.>>57211378I actually haven't played the DLC haha. The only reason I ever got to play SwSh is because a friend lent me his copy of Sword.
>>57211277Just an FYI, going to Isle of Armor won’t fuck up your game progression too much (you get to level 30 by the end but it scales to your progress), but don’t start the Crown Tundra if you aren’t looking to break the game
>>57211378The DLC is really good
>>57203954Did a Fire only run of Radical Red, that was interesting. Not sure if I want to do another run or not. The legendary spam near the end is kind of cancerous.
>>57208996Really? I thought Sharpedo and Froslass would've been a lot more common. I gotta say though, Lunatone surprised me. It wasn't half-bad.
>>57211675Nice I did a Normal Mono a few years ago
>>57211675i did my first mono run as a mono water run of renplat. i was thinking of doing radred next, was it enjoyable? i agree that the end can get cancerous, i would prob never do restricted or not use min grinding due to how op some stuff is.
>>57212418I had fun with it, mostly. The dev did a good job of throwing options for different types everywhere even if it bloats the encounter pool. I'd recommend you use the codes in the radred reddit megathread though. With how constantly I swap my team I wouldn't dream of playing without the DexAll Woyaopp and SO2Toxic codes on.
Oh no you don't
>>57203954Just beat Lance in GoldCrobatUmbreonQuagsireGrowlitheDragonairMeganium
My last attempt...
>>57214097>meganiumautomatic 10/10 team
>>57203954Ultra MoonJust beat Ultra Necrozma and been shiny farming Pheromosa for over a week.Mawile 66Tsareena 63Noivern 60Raichu 56Gardevoir 65Garchomp 51
>>57203954probably the final team I'm taking to the league.
>>57215837in pokemon elite redux
Bump
>>57204002Intimidate is a terrible ability. A warrior trainer always plays around the crit and assumes RNG actively hates them.
Just whooped Whitney's ass. Never got immobilized by love which is crazy and I let my Pineco Self Destruct to knock a dent into her Miltank (also because it's funny)
>>57215837found iron moth on victory road
>>57203954After not playing HGSS for awhile I totally forgo how much Typhlosion and Ampharos really sweep this entire game
