I know some people like to clown on Nemona, but she's the first Rival since Blue that I feel I was always annoyed when she showed up randomly but was ready to throw down, even if she was a cakewalk. Is the alternative any better though? Having gameplay interrupted to be teleported to that big ass school and sit through some lessons at arbitrary points in the story? It makes me wonder if the school setting was worthwhile.

I can see her wearing dresses with long sleeves to hide most of the brace, and walking around with hands folded in front of her in a way where her good hand covers the hand with the brace all to try and minimize how noticeable it is. But she'd have no real option but to wear it lest she cause an even bigger scene dropping stuff and causing a mess due to her bad arm.In school and stuff she can get away with wearing the brace as it matches her sporty aesthetic, and she can just brush it off as being for throwing poke balls. But at a formal event, the brace just becomes a glaring sign that her arm doesn't work properly and she'd probably feel a bit self-conscious about it.

I've recently learned that it's a common trope in anime known as "gap moe", where a character has two very contrasting aspects (Saguaro is an example of this, being very masculine on the surface, but he has a major sweet tooth, and all of his Pokémon are either cute, feminine looking, or 100% female). Tyme being a former gym leader who often uses battle-related examples in class means the lessons are often super engaging for Nemo. On top of this, Tyme seems like she would be the most professional member on staff, and I can see her often helping out Nemo and the student council as a result. I can imagine Nemo needing to collect teacher's signatures to get the OK to run a school event and saying how Tyme's the only one who submitted her signature, only to find an hour later that she managed to wrangle the rest of the teachers to get their shit together. I remember some parts of the game making Tyme come off a very responsible teacher, so I imagine she'd be the type to have a "this is a job for adults, not a student" mentality and often end up helping Nemo with student council responsibilities as a result. >ClavellShe respects him a lot and they get along well. As the principal, he's very professional and often works closely with the student council. Even outside of the student council though, he's very invested in the success of all his students, including Nemo. He often does house visits to check on her when she needs time off school, and is constantly making sure that she's not pushing herself too much. And despite his position of authority, he's often very forgiving of Nemo's battle autism and will gently remind her to tone things down depending on the situation, but never scold her. He can be a bit of a weirdo but so can Nemo, so it's not like she minds.
