I was catching shiny metangs in friend safari and it was so damn hard to catch, had to settle for ultra ball and timer ball, and it turns out it allegedly has legendary pokemon catch rate

Not actively hunting, but over the last week I've hit two shinies by coincidence in Scarlet, both in the Canyon area. Got an A.Graveler and a Tyrogue to evolve. No shiny charm or anything, which is very odd and a bit surprising to me.
