>>57212899>>What are the things you liked about Gates to Infinity? The game fosters a good sense of community with the society you're supposed to care about. it makes the story seem better than it actually is, so it's a benefit in my eyes.>>How dexterous do you think bird Pokémon like Fletchling, Pidgey, Unfezant, etc. are with their wings?dexterous enough i'd wager, but not like hand dexterity.>>What are the things that make your favorite PMD antagonist a compelling character?a decent personal motivation helps. i ain't saying who though

>get warped to the PMD world>as a ShinxI don't know about you guys, but I'd be pretty mad.
>>57213178Why's that, anon?
Got more going!!https://rentry.org/LiminalCrossroads9Quick recap, IRL guy and his twin get isekaid into growlithes, he wants to ask questions about why to Uxie from way out in Fogbound Lake. He also decides the best course of action is to prepare for the journey rather than pay for an exploration team.KFC will train them.
>>57213190I wouldn't want to be a cute Shinx. I would want to be a cool Lucario. If I actually got isekai'd as a Vulpix, Shinx, or anything else excessively cute, I'd be very unhappy.
>>57213236Shinx and Vulpix have cool evolutions, though. You've gotta get strong as a cutemon if you wanna grow to be a coolmon. Heck, even if you wanted to be a Lucario, you'd most likely have to start out as a Riolu.
>>57212118>take features from an unpopular pokemon and add them onto a popular furfag species because nobody would give a shit about it without the latterMany such cases!
>>57213236I find your perspective baffling, but I completely respect your ability to hold it. Good on you, and thank you for sharing, anon.
>>57213289Luxray is cool, but it's a 2nd Stage evolution. Ninetales is cute, not cool. Riolu is also cool and not cute.>>57213370Baffling how?
>>57213852>>57213236>>57213178You're in this thread. We all know you have a folder filled with drawings of cute pokemon
>>57213892Well, you would be wrong. I don't have any folders filled with cute Pokemon drawings.
Is it morally good to kill Team ACT's Charizard? If yes, is it still moral if said death happens due to a sadiqtic Rampardos doing continuous Head Smash on it?
Have you played any other games in the genre besides pmd?
I don't play any games at all. I'm here for the furry porn.
>>57213191Holy shit the return
>>57214677I've played the Chocobo games and one Shiren (Tower of Fortune). Each of the Chocobo's games play quite different from each other, and Chocobo's Dungeon 2 has my favorite dungeon exploration in the MD genre.Shiren was nice, but I got filtered by the pot system. It was interesting at first, but it made inventory management annoying by bloating the time I spent on the inventory menu.Does Digimon World 2 count as a MD game?
>>57214033Here is one of my many cool pokemon images.
Got a big backlog, but I'm chipping away at it. Here are some reviews."Bell and Vile" by Flareon-anon>https://rentry.org/bellandvileI enjoyed this one. It was neat to get a bit more backstory for your characters. I liked how you wrote the dialogue, and also the interactions between Rose and her children. The outlaw encounter and the bonus scene were cool. On the other hand, I felt like some dialogue could've been trimmed down because it wasn't entirely relevant to the plot, and certain parts could've used more imagery to set the scene (although it was good in other parts, like the description of Rose's house)."A Find in the Forest" by Chespin-anon>https://rentry.org/forestfindThe concept was interesting. I liked how you wrote Mark and the way Chespin and Wooper react to him. I did find it surprising how Mark went from being a simple bully to straight-up attempting murder. Also, part of me wishes he turned over a new leaf and Chespin reconciled with him, which might have been a more satisfying story arc and message, but I think the direction you went is okay. Despite being a more pessimistic angle, the message at the end was still nice."A Christmas Counter-Heist" by Tybo-anon>https://rentry.org/75p8a442Maybe it's just me, but the concept of this story confused me. Why did Tybo and Jack need to break into the museum? Why couldn't the staff just escort them and help them pack up the items? Or better yet, why couldn't the staff just call the cops (or a team) to ambush the crooks? That said, the description of the first floor, the worldbuilding on the second floor, and the combat were good overall. Also, it was nice to see you come back and make another story. I hope you write again sometime.
>>57216307>A Find in the ForestI do want to go back and overhaul the story someday, since I think I can improve it significantly and I'm not as pleased with the end result as I could be.

>>57213191Kino has been served The training sequences feel brutal, which is great. It's satisfying to watch them grow in this way.As always, your prose is terrific. I recommend these stories for those wanting to develop their own writing styles beyond the standard.
>>57215150I'm here to occasionally derail the thread by saying lewd shit once the thread has already gone to shit because of some PMD gen war shit or general fandom bickering.
Alright, was out of the country for a while but I come back with some reviews from stories I read in the plane! Usually how I read clover guild stories : Very carefully and immersed with some fitting music. And when something strikes me, I note it down so I can share it later in the thread. So here comes some reviews from amazing stories I should have read way earlier
pic related art by vee anon>>57218721Hollow horn by vaporeon anon : https://rentry.org/AC-HHorngreat stories!! I say it too much probably but I love Ikarus. And I really wanna hug him...That stories made me question a couple of things. Why is Ikarus suddenly taking care of dreepies? I haven't read d'Alin stories yet (that I'm reserving to read at the end of this week) so maybe it's related to that. Or maybe it's meant to be left ambiguous!Favorite thing about this story was how Ikarus was really trying to make the Dreepies happy. I found it very cute. He clearly has a kind heart despite all his accidents!
>>57218721Two in red by gabite anon : https://rentry.org/two-in-redAn intro story by a new anon! YAY!!!!!!! Love reading intro of new characters. At first I was having a bit of trouble understanding what pokemon Sierra was, and what pokemon Santos was until later down the story where it was explicitly said. Very personal opinion : I know it can make for good writing to describe what they may look like before stating their species, but I like to have the image of the pokemon the character embodies in my mind right away so I can read and imagine the rest of the story more easily. But I love both characters! Especially the mienfo is kinda funny, I like his style with the bandana cholo-style, kek. He very casually dropped off the fact that he was human as well. I guess it shouldn't be surprising because of his latino accent but I'm surprised Sierra didn't react to it. My favorite part was when they were at the inn. Well written and I always like to see in general commerce/merchants/society working in PMD world. That said, I wonder how Mr. Gibbles (very funny gible character) would react to seeing a big, stronger(?) Gabite. Would love for them to meet.I wrote down on my notes : "I hope there's art of the character soon" And as I am writing this, I just saw on the drawingboard that Vee is currently drawing them both and it's looking soo gooooooooooooooooood (not pic related, go check it in the drawingboard!)Shout-out to Vee anon for drawing new characters so well when they get introduced into the guild. I kneel every single time.
pic related art by petal purr anon>>57218721The Apple Woods Fire part 1 by petal anon https://rentry.org/88syuzvdI really should have read that a long time ago, especially with how good of an artist petal-purr is (and how cute their characters are!!). Like, seriously. It's incredible art.If you are a lurker please take a look : https://cloverguild.com/booru/posts/query=petal-purrBack to the story : I love how the intro starts right away with a link to clover guild lore, that's awesome. Apple wood's forest fire is referenced multiple times in stories, but the consequences of it aren't talked about all that much. But in this intro, we can actually see all the damage and the reactions of native pokemon living near it!!! Super cool. I mean, it's not cool. But it's very interesting. It's nice how this intro includes the characters's parents. It's rare for characters to have family mentioned, but this one the parents are actual characters. Remind me of chespin's stories with wooper's family. The relationship between the parents and the sisters is very cuteee. I love them!!I scheduled myself to read Petal Purr's stories at the end of the week, but read part 1 earlier because I wanted to get ready. And ready I am!!! that teams seems so lovely

>>57218835Is this AI?
>>57214677i've played genso wanderer, for like, 1 hour, does that count
>>57216398Let's pretend the coomers don't exist for a second and be honest with ourselves- Kiyo was obviously designed as a ridiculously cute tsundere. There's just no fucking way the author didn't plan it that way, but there hasn't been any stories taking advantage of that aspect. >No scam where Kiyo begrudgingly uses his cuteness to his advantage >No Shakespearean drama from a guildmon with a crush on Kiyo learning of his criminal past>No braindead gooner humon who convinces himself Kiyo is a girl with insane mental gymnastics Could be I'm just a faggoty weeb but that right there is missed potential.
>>57134143 >The genitals and anus are generally some of the hottest areas of the body Very interesting choice of words dear Anon.
>>57219800You stay away from that Zangoose's no-no square.
>>57219800The hottest area of the body is armpits, actually
>>57218835Someone fixed the eyes! And yes it is.

pic related art from the story by tropius anon>>57218721Cocoa Cargo by Tropius anon : https://rentry.org/tropiuscocoacargo24 pages in pdf format!!!!!!!!!! WOW! That's a big story!I adored reading that one. It's obvious SO MUCH EFFORT was put into it, with the writing quality, the accuracy of characters, the art, the formatting, this is peak quality. Knowing Tropius anon, this is very fitting of his style, he puts a lot of value into putting in hard work into stories/art/hacks to achieve high quality results. I love how it starts right after The Weather Up There story. (please play the hack if you haven't, it's so good https://cloverguild.com/booru/post/1774). It was fun to read the little references to that hack.>hmm songswhat songs is tropius singing when he hums like that? Are they pmd songs? or runescape? kekone of my favorite parts of that story was the Dipplin encounter with Tropius. It was really interesting reading the lore on how its sent attracts bug and grass types, and especially how they are TWO beings in a single apple not one!! Is this new lore or official lore? Regardless, super interesting. And I loved Tropius's reaction to finding himself on the other side of craving another mon's fruit, heh.>entire premise of the story is that Pelipper Mail fucks up an orderwowwwww. Classic, honestly. Should have expected that! This is another one of my favorite parts : The Pelipper Mail slander. HELL YEAH. And when Debby arrives to talk with Tropius they both shit on Pelipper Mail too kek. Yet another proof that Delibird Deliveries is #1. (number one!!) Thanks Tropius, 2 pokes have been deposited into your account for the shilling.Continued in another post.
pic related art by tropius anon from this story>>57218721>>57221760>part where Tropius scowls at the Machoke reaching at his undercarriage lmao, at first I was unsure why he would react that way, but then, if I imagine myself in Tropius's body... Yeah, it would certainly feel a bit too intimate feeling hands in that area. I loved the machoke's reaction though, I imagine it like The Rock's eyebrow raise kekOne thing I noticed throughout the story, and, in fact, throughout multiple Tropius's stories, is that he feels very uncomfortable with people using him for his size and physique. He says things like "being used like an ox" Or being a mule, multiple times. Very interesting. Seems like he worries he's seen as no more than a beast or something. I hope one day he realizes that the PMD world works differently than the human world! He doesn't need to feel ashamed!! Machokes are used for their strength, but they aren't mere work horses. Bird pokemons are used for their flight, but they aren't mere carrier pigeons! It's the beauty of it. There is such a beautiful variety of mons useful for different things, and they work in harmony with others in PMD world. I think Tropius being a human, is still not used to such a concept, because humans in human society are obviously all the same species and have (relatively) the same potential for every job.Anyway, to end it, my favorite part ever in the story is how many cameos there are. It's the best thing ever when reading stories!! Seeing Beast, Numel, Debby, Macom, etc immediately makes me widely smile. Even Wimpod is in there!!! That is just so cool. And Linoone of course :>. I loved reading him in the story, he as very in character! Super happy he was able to help Tropius!!! It was such a cute segment.I loved the ending, it was incredibly wholesome. Beast's curiosity with human cuisine is cuteeeeee. >Beast asking for a bananaKEKKKKKKK10/10. Thank you for the kino!

>>57223406Nice question. It's cool to see all this old nostalgic art.I believe these are my first traditional and digital drawings. I'm pretty sure the traditional one came first, but I'm not quite sure.>>57212899>What are the things you liked about Gates to Infinity?I can't say, because I never played it.>How dexterous do you think bird Pokémon like Fletchling, Pidgey, Unfezant, etc. are with their wings? They can probably control their wings more precisely than IRL birds, letting them emote and gesture, but I don't believe they have "feather fingers" like some fictional birds have.>How do you believe Pokémon based on amphibians or cold-blooded animals would deal with the winter? They'd probably have to rely on items or food. Maybe they'd carry around certain kinds of warm Wonder Orbs or a Fire Stone, or perhaps there are clothes that are made with a material that constantly generates heat (that may not be realistic, but this is Pokemon we're talking about). In Booker's case, he started wearing a Fire Stone on his belt at some point, and he ate Aspear Berries to warm himself up in the Halloween story I wrote with Kiyo-anon.

A lot of clover characters have very subdued faults (I'm guilty of this too!) which leaves a lot of room for comically lame characters. It's why Ronnie is one of my favorites, and I think why Cynda is kinda a fan favorite too. They help balance the meal, in a way, so a pathetically love-blind fool could be a fun character to write. It would have to be done tastefully!!!! :O!!
>>57227384when you popup up with those little drawings, I could feel it deep down in my soul you would bring kino.I was right.
Handsome birds.
