Is it just me, or is this music really sad? Like, I'm not talking about "Oh so much nostalgia, I miss my childhood". This music is genuinely sad, even when I was a child playing this, it just made me feel bad.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIiaqJY7l_E
>>57221575A fair bit of DPs music is like that. Though I like it in a vacuum, I always thought the somber tone of the pokemon league theme was a weird change from the normally triumphant tone.I think Valor lakefront is supposed to be peaceful and sleepy tho, not sad
>>57221583Yeah, the League theme is also sad
>>57221575strange, I always found it very calm and relaxing, in a positive way, maybe because I like the grand lake hotel
>>57221583i like the bike theme https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LK52XRLClW4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFLupPlWKzA
It's supposed to make you feel rested, serene and restored because it's a resort. >>57221575 retard.
>>57221969Calm down, no need to be rude
>>57221975Sorry. Can we start again?
Isn't its location a bit weird? It's right next to Pastoria City so the Lakefront doesn't get a fast travel spot, and in Platinum you come here by a thin piece of beach which is kind of odd. They probably could scrapped Pastoria and made Valor Lakefront like its own city. They could have incorporated the Safari Zone and since Crasher Wake is already a water type specialist, his gym would make more sense being here instead of a swampy marshland.
>>57221583>I always thought the somber tone of the pokemon league theme was a weird change from the normally triumphant tone.Yeah, maybe it's supposed to foreshadow the funeral music of all the kids that got trunched by Cynthia.>>57221575Kinda like the other anons said, very calm/relaxing, but pretty low energy overall. There's that one Beauty npc there who mentions the sea is salty like her tears after a long day work, a bit sobering to read alongside the music.Canalave City and Snowpoint are also two that (for the most part) feel pretty low energy/calm. Sinnoh has a lot of nice music.
