Because they give you the roller skates pretty much immediately. If you can ignore your autism for just a moment, you’d see that they both fall under “key item that lets you navigate the overworld slightly faster and with slightly more difficulty,” so what the fuck does it matter it’s not a bicycle for the 6th time in a row?
