I haven't touched Pokemon since Ultra Sun/Moon, I heard new games have a limited dex, does it mean that there are certain Pokemon that are completely unusable (as in the game itself doesn't have code for them)? Or does it simply mean certain pokemon can't be caught but they can be obtained through transfer from another gen?

>>58232958Let's be real you weren't using 90+% of Pokémon anyways. Pretty much all the popular ones like Eevee, Gardevoir and Lucario, Charizard, Gengar, Tyranitar, Metagross, are always accounted for. The others if they weren't in Gen 8 were probably in Gen 9.
