>This Pokémon is always in high spirits and has a friendly personality. However, it discharges its stored electricity all at once from the hole in its head when it gets excited, so it frequently shocks humans and Pokémon in its vicinity. Even the slightest provocation can set off such a discharge, so in human settlements, Hisuian Voltorb is considered a nuisance. Tales of people temporarily plugging the hole on Hisuian Voltorb’s head and kicking it out of settlements are not entirely uncommon.so you're telling me all this guy wanted was to be friends with people, and their response to this slight annoyance was to fucking take away its only means of emotional release and then literally kick it out of town?is modern voltorb only constantly pissed off and suicidal from hundreds of years of abuse? i know "le kids game is actually DARK OOOO" is such a meme but this shit is actually messed up. hisuian humans are like sociopath third worlders that swing cats around by their tails for fun.
It does suck that the modern Voltorb cannot respond to signs of friendship anymore. Also funny how getting kicked out of human civilizations and being left in the wild i.e. the place with a lot of greenery made it lose the Grass-type.
>>58235916Gee I wonder why people are so mean to the poor poor pokémon that blew up the hands and harms of a little kid who was just passing byYeah humans are horrible for kicking out a sentient bomb with a short fuse
>>58235963This but unironically
I've solved the puzzle of "which came first the Voltorb or the Pokeball">First was Hisuian Voltorb>Then the wooden pokeballs in Arceus were invented inspired by Hisuian Voltorbs>Then Hisuian Voltorbs started using pokeballs for camouflage>Technology then advanced, resulting in the pokeballs we see today>Voltorbs had to either evolve to match the new pokeball or die out since they had gotten so used to their camouflage tactics
