pokemon, but evolving makes them weaker and can't be cancelledis this anything?

>pokemon, but evolving makes them weaker and can't be cancelledDusknoir vs Eviolite Dusclops
>>58237410Porygon-Z vs Porygon 2 is interesting because Z is more of of a sidegrade than a straight improvement

>>58237410>>58237416Would be neat as a challenge run kind of thing, or a different type of mechanic. Sort of an alternative to Digimon and Monster Rancher having your mons die with old age. The challenge would be in balancing raising your mon and using it effectively in the limited amount of time you have with it. Less harsh cause you don't actually lose the mon, and you could still raise it's weakened 'retired' form to be strong and usable if you level it up enough.I like this thread.

>>58237410>can't be cancelledI don't like that idea, but I do like the idea of a mon that gets weaker when it evolves (intentionally, not just because GF underestimated eviolite).Maybe you can only catch the evo, and you have to breed to get the much stronger baby.I'm thinking something based on picrel.
