rank them
>>582520613 > 1 > the innocuous shit that is 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 > get stabbed in the dick > 2
Hard task, i'll try5 = 3 > 1 > 2 > 8 > 6 > 7 > 4Not that i think 4ever is bad, just the weakest out of these. I liked movie 6 a lot but i think 8 has more going on
>>582520615 and 8
8 > 5 > 3 > 1 > 2 > 4 > 6 >7
The problem with rating these is half of them movie is content I don't care about. Heroes or Deoxys would be clear winners if cut to half of the movie. So if I cut the movies to what I would want to watch rather than everything on the whole....>7 > 5 > 2 > 3 > 1 > 4 > 8 > 6
>>582520613>8>5=6>1>>>>>>>>>>>4>2>7>>58252089Yeah, most of the movies are moreso showcases of a particular setting. It's why Altomare and LaRousse are so loved because much of the movie is spent around exploring the setting, it's as much of a character as the humans and Pokemon in that sense, but there's no story or genuine substance.
>>58252089>>58252148I found 2 to be a hard watch for exactly this reason.
>>58252061I have to rewatch these sometime. (Minus Lucario since I don't own that)
>>582520613 > 2000 > 1 > heroes > 4ever > deoxys > lucario > jirachii did enjoy all of these, but 3 is the best one by a landslide, and the difference between the rest of them is a lot lesshonestly the only pokemon movie i absolutely hated was the hoopa one
>>58253156I haven't seen Celebi and Jirachi in ages, particularly the former, with this specific criteria I'm thinking watching one of them again so I can kind of do a ranking.>>58252089I can't apply that feeling to EVERY movie, but you do have, say, the second half of Mewtwo (they're stuck in the Stadium for like, at least half the movie) or Deoxys' ending being drawn out because they axed the Pikachu short and chose to add it to the feature run time.
Entei > Deoxys/Mewtwo > Lugia > Latios+Latias > Lucario > Celebi > JirachiHonestly an inconsistent mix of how I think they do what they set out to do and just how much I enjoy watching them. Say the third movie might be the best executed overall but that doesn't necessarily make it the first one I want to watch. When that isn't clear, go by aesthetic and set pieces.
>>58252061First Movie > Lucario and the Mystery of Mew > Heroes > Entei and the Spell of the Unown > Destiny Deoxys The others don't qualify for the list
