Nah, that's just perspective fucking with you. It becomes more apparent when you look at it in the Japanese "Final Trailer" they just put out.
From what we've seen so far, no, the mega models have been largely unchanged across the board save for being updated to have 3D eyes and mouths where they weren't previously applicable.
Venusaur would be the best example since it's change in face shape is a lot more noticeable (since both Zard megas already have more pronounced snouts and mouths than the original 3DS model, and the other proportions look unchanged) and Mega Venusaur would end up looking derpy compared to the new SV model but so far Venusaur and Blastoise have been conspicuously absent from marketing.
