They pushed this thing for a single gen and they didn't even fucking do it right. Don't make it event only, holy shit. They fixed it in BW2 but the damage was done. Great, coherent design and the coolest gimmick ability in the franchise. They dropped it too soon. There's a superior timeline where Zoroark was more enthusiastically embraced and Gamefreak actually coded smarter NPC trainers to compliment Illusion.
