>first Pokemon was EmeraldHeard many youtubers say this. Is it all just zoomer fags in the fanbase now? Where have the Kanto chads gone
>>58267042they're probably raising kids right now, and then those kids will grow up and argue on /vp/, with you.
>>58267042Kantochads are too busy taking care of their wives and kids in real life, if you're one of them and aren't doing that then you're both in the minority and a failure
>>58267042Kantofags are normies and grew out of nostalgiafagging on the internet. Johturds could learn a thing or two from them.
>>58267042They went senile from old age
>>58267042Barely anyone owned Emerald so you can safely assume they're lying if they don't admit it was on an emulator. Although to be honest I don't even trust you're actually even reporting something real at all.
>>58267052Nah those kids are playing roblox and fortnite with their real dad (wife's boyfriend)
>>58267148Let's be genuinely fucking honest, Gen III Pokemon was HARD carried by emulation and that fanbase would have definitely died if the GBA wasn't piss easy to emulate. They're easily the most accessible GBA games and every website that hosts GBA roms always have the 5 Pokemon games as the top downloaded games because anybody worth their salt know how to get a GBA emulator working, especially on your phone. This is where the real Zoomer nostalgia is from. The kids that grew up on the actual RSE wouldn't have become the same kind of die hard fans that those who actively sought out the roms and were able to mitigate the game's annoying RNG tendencies. Pokemon had already hard faded out by this point and the 16 million sales everyone boasts about is worldwide. You look up sources and see it was 2 million in Japan and 2 million in America, which isn't unimpressive most games actually don't even hit a million especially back then. But this was the slow burn of content deluge that kept the franchise going nonstop which got us to where we are now rather than the games being the "epitome" of why Pokemon was a success. It's like any manga adaption. As popular and beloved as they are, it's always the anime that's the main reason for its success, and the anime declining in quality is the real reason game sales dropped
>>58267148>Barely anyone owned EmeraldYes they did, faggot, everyone was playing that shit on their gba sp back in the day. But I guess being a gen alpha post-zoomer skibidi brainrotted soiteen who stares at numbers on graphs in place of thinking for 5 seconds makes you incapable of grasping reality
>>58267179>"Let's be genuinely fucking honest">*lies*
>>58267179>>58267148Can confirm as a god honest hoennfag. Thanks to emulation, emerald was my first ever introduction to pokemon games. Great times playing that and a bunch of romhacks.
>>58267201>barely anyone = nobody>6m = everyoneyou're rarted
>>58267204A good chunk of Pokemon success IS because of emulation, especially Gen III, the easiest game to hack and mod. Do you think the rest of the world gives a fuck about Hoenn Nostalgia? What's the last Hoenn-related thing this franchise got? Fucking Galarian Linoone? After ORAS, Hoenn was buried by Game Freak for good. Even their "Hoenn rep" in SM was completely rewritten to be a brand new character
>>58267205>as a god honest hoennfagif you are who I think you are you're actually a falseflagger
>>58267179>>58267179>mitigate the game's annoying RNG tendencies?Huh?
>>58267218>A good chunk of Pokemon success IS because of emulationcomplete nonsense supported by nothing>especially Gen IIIsee above>the easiest game to hack and modand?>Do you think the rest of the world gives a fuck about Hoenn Nostalgia?what are you even talking about?>What's the last Hoenn-related thing this franchise got?you tell me, because I have zero clue where you're trying to go with this>After ORAS, Hoenn was buried by Game Freak for good.literally released a life-sized Gardevoir plush, but go off schizo
>>58267220I don't know who you're thinking of but I ain't your boogeyman.
>>58267226Gardevoir is Diantha's Ace, Anon. She's a Gen VI Pokemon
>poketuber says he remembers playing the 3ds back when he was just a kid
>>58267223it's schizobabble, don't waste your brainpower attempting to unpack it
>>58267241it won't be long before you here brainrotters saying this about the Switch; it came out 8 years ago, so if they start their channel at 18, they could already be saying it. Give it just 3 or so more years and it'll be the norm.
>>58267042the future is now, old man
>>58267179TRVTH NVKE
You fags always fail to realize time never stops moving. Zoomers are late 20s now.
>>58267286>you here brainrotters
>>58267148I have met a ton of kids that have played emerald by emulating on their phone. It was always recommended whenever people asked which game would be best to play on a phone for about a decade.
>>58267382pardon, normally I wouldn't make a dumb mistake like that. Obviously meant "hear".
>>58267369Zoomers are in their late 30's now, bozo. The generation started in 1990.
>>58267390that isn't the point
