Magikarp has an exp yield of 20, Chansey of 255. This has been in RGBY already. Never fought the Magikarp guy? Half the "fun" is the low EXP. I always figured they put Chansey's in Cerulean Cave for post game grinding.

My idea was that it would change whatever it transformed into to have a secondary Steel typing, except when the Pokémon it transformed into already has Steel as a primary typing, and maybe it had some extra HP too.

Probably evolved from trade with metal Powder, since Ditto has a relation to it in the final version (doubles defense)

It's probably supposed to be based on ferrofluid and how it reacts to magnetism (Goes spiky like Animon appears)

If I were to guess it would be normal/steel, maintain the boosted defense stat, maybe also gain Sp. Def boost too. Basically they wanted to make Ditto able to tank a hit before transforming, but it still didn't really work as the problem is losing a turn more than the stats plus a glaring fire weakness so they scrapped the idea.

It actually used Metal Coat to evolve into Animon based on the leaked demo build.

Also, its only move was Transform just like Ditto. With what's known it was likely just meant to be another cross-gen evo that used the new typing. Nothing special appears to have been planned for it.
