I was thinking of replaying scarlet since I got a switch 2 and it apparently actually doesn’t run like dog shit on that.
How are the dlcs? Worth it?
If so, when should I play em’? I did look it up, one is unlocked near immediately and the other is post-game. I guess this strictly a teal mask question. Doing it immediately seems dumb. I was thinking maybe like the 3rd-4th gym range?
I guess this is mostly hypothetical since I’ll more likely just wait for ZA in a month. But its an idea I’m toying with now.
Side question; is NSO/pokemon home/bank/whatever it is worth it?

DLC is only worth if it if you care about collection. Story is a nothing burger and you may as well watch them on YouTube. If you do get them, it's built for the level 20 range if you do it before main story end, otherwise it jumps to Champion levels in post game.

No, Home isn't worth paying for if you're not autistic enough to play Pokemon DLC's at launch. You get one free box and you can use that to import a handful of interesting things like Enamorus from Legends Arceus.

In my opinion if you want a good power fantasy, the dlc is great, if you want a good story, the DLC is ass.

I didn’t care for the Kieran storyline so Kitakami was eh to me but I did enjoy Blueberry Academy a lot more. Bank is free. NSO depends on how much play online obviously. Home is technically free

If I buy the dlc what level should the team I bring in be

If you enjoyed the base game I think the DLC is worth it, especially since you can experience it blind with the massive Switch 2 improvement. Teal Mask is comfy, and Indigo Disk finishes the story and has some of the best designed battles in the series as long as you don't bring an overleveled team.
>>
Op again. Would i be better off using my ‘main’ team for the dlcs, or making new teams for each of them in there?

You should catch new Pokemons obviouisly.

Depends when you go in. The level curve is fine if you go in right after the main story end and focus entirely on the main story.

Part 2 has a sequence where you have to use Pokemon caught in the DLC area.

First DLC is like a Pokemon movie story but with actual historical revisionism, murder, eight proxy-gym leaders, a minigame with competitive mochi rewards and a rival who gets to hate your guts for real, second one is a battling academy with the most challenging battles GF has ever done, closure to the rival thing, a last visit to Area Zero to get the origin of Terastal power, plenty of old legendaries to catch, a shitton of character interactions and an epilogue of about a whole hour against the mythical pokemon behind the backstory of the first DLC.
Oh and also a machine that let's you run as a pokemon. That's right, you, yourself, as one of your pokemon. You can even control Suicune and run over water like in Pokemon Crystal intro

Pretty good honestly, if you liked SV you will love this DLC. And in regards of order, if you have beaten the main game the first DLC story will have its levels updated, otherwise they are way inferior and slowly increase the more you progress, here's the order or "bosses" acounting for the DLC, from tutorial to reaching the second DLC. For the epilogue just activate mystery gift and you will get an item that will activate the event for when you have beaten The Indigo Disk.

I can tell you it doesn't run like shit on switch 2. I played the dlc on it. The dlcs are okay. They could be better. Battle tower when? Never

Also three more cryptids, first DLC has a special quest for an unique Ursaluna if you complete the area's pokedex (mostly, not even full) on top of a new Applin evo, then the second DLC has roughly the same but tells you about two new paradoxes for you to find in Area Zero and has a new item to evolve Duraludon and a new move to evolve Applin's evo again.

The ogerpon DLC's story takes place during the main games story so you should do it as you go through it.
