This. The erosion thing doesn't make any fucking sense. I can buy Hydro Pump eroding rock, but literally every other Water attack clearly would not chip away at solid stone whatsoever. It takes decades for a waterfall to even begind to erode rock, or it takes extremely high-pressure water. The fact that rocks sink in water also doesn't really make sense for contributing to an in-battle weakness. There's really no excuse for solid stone to be somehow weak to water attacks, even cartoonish logic doesn't really work. 95% of Water Type attacks clearly would not be capable of eroding the Rock Type.

The Grass weakness is fine tho. It's also based on plant erosion, but in this case the Grass Type is using its special powers to make years' worth of plant growth happen instantaneously. So you would actually get several years of erosion to the rock happening in an instant

Rock is a good type. It just needs pokemon that to be buffed to modern standards while making them more valuable through stealth rock exclusivity. Do not buff Terrakion - fuck him.

I have no idea how to save Aurorus and Bastiodon without slapping solid rock on them, which is counter-productive to how they function. One is an offensive mon while the other wants to take heavy damage and dish it back with metal burst.
