>Anon? Oh yeah, I remember you. We used to play Pokemon together when we were little, didn't we? Haha, those were the days, huh? My favorite was always Charizard. Remember the episode where he evolved? Haha.. >Hmm? The later games? Oh yeah, they kept making more after that, huh? I think I played some of the second one, but honestly I just liked Charizard and Pikachu.. you know, the originals, haha. Then we got into high school and all we could think about were getting dates with girls, right? >Hey, you should bring your family over for dinner some time. I'm sure the kids would like to meet each other!
>>58276190>hey, do you remember when you used to collect pokemon cards?mfw im STILL collecting my japanese cardboard
>>58276190All of my friends since elementary school are in their 30s and don't have jobs, a gf, or any kids
>>58276190>Then we got into high school and all we could think about wasPlaying Clash of Clans, Pokemon and Mario Kart DS rom hacks. Programming stuff on my calculator. Not doing anything with that cute girl who was obviously into me, because autism.
>>58276642>Not doing anything with that cute girl who was obviously into me, because autism. Why did you have to remind me of this?
>>58276642I know that feel
>>58276642i had this as early as elementary school, and she was also a pokemon/digimon nerd, we spent like 5 more school years together and we never went past the friendzone even though i really liked her and she also clearly liked mealso we shared the same birthday and it wouldve been really cute celebrating our birthday together
>>58276190Most of my friends I played Pokemon with dropped out of high school and later overdosed on drugs. The ones that haven’t OD’d are trailer trash. I’m 31, married with three kids and I still play Pokemon. My oldest two boys play Pokemon unite with me and they’re 8 and 6. My youngest is 4 but he hasn’t quite grasped how to play yet. So he plays solo and thinks we’re all playing.
>>58277098Happy for you anon.
>>58277104Thanks I am too. Life is good.
>>58277098My kids are 4, 2 and infant. I give the 4 and 2 year old broken controllers while I play shit like DK64 and pokemon and they have a blast
>>58277133lol I used to do that but then they took interest in playing so I let them play. My youngest for the last year and a half has been really efficient at playing Sonic Superstars. We’d all four have a blast playing it together. My oldest two have been on a Minecraft kick with my wife/their mom though the last week.
>tfw looking forward to gaming with my kid once she's a few years olderTechnically she's already caught her first pokemon, handed my Pokewalker and she caught a couple, just pressing buttons. Figured I would trade them to her once she was older, assuming she was interested.
>>58277084>>58277092>>58277095Oops...I actually don't feel sad or angry about it, as I couldn't even *imagine* myself dating someone at the time. To me it's just bonus moments bundled with the first year of school/life that stopped treating me like an incarcerated toddler. I must note that she moved out after that year, though.
>>58276190>Ok.. it was nice talking with you..
