Eggs, where do they come from?
No one has ever seen one be laid or made.
Pokemon of completely different states of matter have reproduced with each other e.g. Trevenant and Muk, Gastly and Ralts, Alcremie and Breloom, etc
Pokemon have also somehow reproduced with people e.g. Pokemon LA with Froslass, and the teraleak with the likes of Typhlosion, Slaking, Lapras, etc
What are the mechanics?
Do they manifest into reality due to strong romantic bonds?
Are they built through supernatural forces?
Some believe them to be a cradle that comes after a Pokemon is born, but has anyone ever seen a Pokemon be born?
I want to get to the bottom of all these questions, and I need your help!

>Pokemon of completely different states of matter have reproduced with each other
Only at the daycare, by having the eggs appear.

No, they are stated to be so.
>has anyone ever seen a Pokemon be born?
Yes, Bulbasaur's entries state it has a seed since birth.

Cock goes in, egg comes out

I don't know how he has kids, but still hasn't figured this out

It might have to do with the fact he's human.

Are we sure?

Ask your favorite poketuber

Don't have one, can I use yours?

He literally already cracked the case against everyone saying otherwise, the eggs are actually made of natural components like a nest, they serve as some sort of magical incubator for the baby inside to grow from.

What's with the influx of HGSS topics? Like actual topics, not just shitting on level curves or "Pro" nuzlockers Do we really have that many people here who watch Chuggaaconroy?

Picnic has destroyed this shit. Eggs manifest out of nowhere into the picnic box while the pokemon are walking around
>>
>>58805832
I do, but I'm actually waiting for it to be over so I can binge it.
Currently watching his Platinum playthrough.

>>58805832
Well for one, yes
But for two, it's the best Pokemon game
>>
....some pokemon lay eggs, others don't.
The Eggs you see in Pokémon are training cradles, created by captive monsters for the trainers to raise their newborns in a safe environment.

Gen 2 was an absolute mess
to the shit starters with abhorrent fanbases
to the unanswered breeding theme

>Picnic has destroyed this shit.
By doing that literal thing?
Picnic destroyed sexfags.
Or would have if they played the games.

All this arguing and confusion in this thread over Pokémon Breeding. It really shows how badly implemented the idea of Pokémon breeding as a game mechanic and its lore. It find it's much easier to just treat the entire game mechanic of Pokémon Breeding and its lore as non canon, because it is just that badly done. Unfortunately there's quite a few things in this franchise that need that treatment with the inconsistencies and issues there are in Pokémon canon. It's too bad though that Game Freak so heavily fumbled the idea of Pokémon breeding as a game mechanic, as an idea it's really good, but the execution is so utterly soulless and stupid.

Professor Coom is DETERMINED to figure out the mystery of baby
>>
What is breeding even still useful for in the newer games? I don't think Game Freak care that much about it, let alone the lore for it, for example look at Tandemaus and Maushold.

It was already established that the "Eggs" are training Cradles for the Trainer to raise Newly born Pokémon to "maturity". Nobody are insane enough to pit infants to fight adults, even in the wild. The main reason why Some Pokemon were ungrouped is because they either don't know how to make one (Pichu, Togepi, Roliu, etc.) or that they don't trust said trainer with their children (Most legendries and Mythicals). Hell, Mew proved that with the fact that it can give live birth to Mewtwo after its embryo has been tampered with.

How does this work?
Is it really just magic bullshit, or did someone really fuck a ghost?

Humans used to be Pokémon.

Eggs being "cradles" is even more retarded than shrinking.
>>
>>58808701
But if they shrink they can fit in the egg cradles
