For the longest time, Pokemon was my favorite thing ever and everything about it genuinely made me happy. But everything from ORAS onwards has been absolute garbage and I don't see any signs of the series ever recovering. It makes me so sad. I can't even treat it like Sanrio and just enjoy merch of my favorite characters because having that shit around just makes me sad thinking about how my favorite thing ever was literally ruined.It fucking sucks so bad.

I was a kid that played both and was very disgusted in how much crappier bw was compared to hgss. Couldnt even make follower sprites for like 90 new pokemon. I was and still am pissed over that. The story, legends and characters were cool but the feature cuts and region being kinda lame... at least the gyms were really good designs
